Holy shit, man. I know what you mean.

I've had this EXACT SAME DAMN reaction myself. Difference is I was driving in my car and I didn't get a good look at the figure. I just realized it was just out of the ordinary (catch my drift) and a chill just shot down my spine and aparlyzed my entire body.
*
I hate that cold chill. I used to get it daily before my mom got rid of the damn thing. That obvious feeling of something paranormal in close proximity. Luckily I never had any personal disturbances in my house. All of my siblings had at least one.

Ya know, I just remembered that the fastest way to a paranormal experience is to play the Ouija board. A lot of girls got possessed because of it. My ex was one of em and she's still damn afraid of the thing.

"We fear what we do not comprehend."

It's a good quote. I feel relief when I think about it.

I used to be afraid of driving (fear of accidents), needles (until I started geting tattoos and piercings), asking girls out (you never know what they're thinking, until you read the right books about dating and picking up girls), smoking (all the health hazard ads blown open by the media) and etc.

Thing is we always expect the worst from every given situation because we don't understand it.

So when I think about possible ghost encounters or etc, it's comforting to know that there is a chance seeing a ghost isn't as bad as it's made up to be.

Yeah I heard XD

Anyway just know that nothing is ever as bad as you make it up to be. That's why you can get one person who's afraid of heights and another who laughs at the other on a building balcony. And at the same time, that guy laughing can be afraid of cockroaches.

I'm not sure I'm making sense, but what I mean is it's all about perception.

As long as you tell yourself that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, you will overcome fear.

dude, i live walking distance (well.. 10-15 minutes away) from templar laugh.gif
would not go f***ing around there at night, passing by on bike also seram sometimes sweat.gif
plus, my friends went there once during the day, lots of broken bottles, they suspect druggies,
so you might have a more physical than ethereal danger of getting jabbed with a HIV infected needle laugh.gif

The thing is, I've seen it. I know what it's capable of. So it's pretty hard for me to toughen up and be brave when it comes to paranormal stuff. hahaha

Cant wait for A7X. Best part is, the tix is most likely gonna be less than RM100! Surprisingly A7X only asks for US$15k. Pretty low for a well-known established US band.

I assume, A7X wil be playing in a small indoor place like Caliban, Bleeding Through and Comeback Kid?

Anyway, sorry to hear bout the pontianak man. No offense but I hope to never ever be in your position of being face to face with one of them with no place to hide.

Yeah, most likely. They're being handled by Theatrical Records. The same guys who brought Bleeding Through. Was supposed to bring in Paramore but the boss figured it'd be too expensive. Hopefully it'll be at Ruums or MCPA main Hall. Zouk and MCPA top hall just wont cut it. Horse The Band was a painful reminder that a venue should always be well-conditioned/super cold.

Trust me, hiding would be the last thing you'd think about when you see one. Running would be the only thought.

I didn't watch Horse The Band, but I hated the Bleeding Through one. Just not a big fan of hardcore dancing.

Based on experience, running has never been a good way of escaping anything.

The more positive solution in this situation will be to hide in a corner and recite prayers.

I doubt I'd have the audacity to recite any prayers if I ever see one again. Panic gets the best of me.

Here's hoping Avenged's gig will be just nice. Unfortunately, there will still be hardcore dancing kids. I miss the good ol days of moshing. Last one I had was at Urbanscapes during LMB's set.

Hahaha somehow I think those things are easily attracted to me so I'm gonna pass on this one. Plus, it's family day for me.

Cheers to that, mate.
Rather be hugging the railing though.

Anyway that's why you need a place to jump to to hide. When it's out of plain sight, it's just easier to start reciting your prayers.
