Yes. I meant that Kirk plays a Jackson RR, possibly a RR1.....
If ESP is continuing making Signature models of other guitars (like James's Gibson Les Paul Custom or Laiho's original Jackson), then maybe Kirk will get an ESP Sharkfin V as well.......

I wanna ask you guys... Is zero fret buzz with low action achievable? I've never had an electric guitar that has no buzzing. I've sent my guitar to every guitarman I can find in Malacca, and my guitar still buzzes. It's okay if it buzzes on 1 or 2 frets, but it buzzes like almost everywhere. Maybe there's no proper malaccan guitar tech?

yea, theres no proper techs there.
actually there arent many ppl here either who could be called techs.

anyway, worse case is u will need either a fret relevel or total refret, anywhere from rm200 - rm400.
i had my epi LP done before by tham and i could set it so low that it wouldve been hard to bend.

WTA How does a Fender Mexico compares to a Highway One or a CIJ/MIJ model?

the new MIM standards are a better buy than the H1.
exact same hardware, not sure on the pickups tho, better finish.

anyway, MIA is a technicality, cos they still hire mexicans to work there tongue.gif

how in the world u think fender manages to keep their prices lower than every other MIA guitar out there?

before u say, those mexicans are naturalised americans...well i still remember this interview...

QUOTE
interviewer to penelope cruz - are you mexican?
pc - no, im spanish.
interviewer - so you're european mexican then.
pc gets pissed tongue.gif

Thanks for the prompt reply.

So I'm thinking, if I'm gonna get a workman's strat/tele, I could go for the MIM Strat/Tele?

And if I'm looking for a premium ones, perhaps Suhr/Tom Anderson/Vigier would be better choices?

Or perhaps a Standard Strat/Tele are head and shoulders over the H1?

i had both a 2002 MIM tele and a 2006 H1 strat.
the tele was definitely better and cheaper.

also for MIM, go for anything after 2001/02 as that is the yr they started to change.
before that they had poplar bodies, crappy electronics.
after was alder bodies, CTS pots.
