i thought any hardware shop sells that, and its 0000.
try not to use steel wool, better go buy fretboard conditioners. ppl use steel wool more for polishing the frets, u may scratch the fretboard no matter how fine it is. plus after that the steel wool particles will get attracted to the pickup magnets. i think dan erlewine uses copper wool for that reason. |

I tried Ace in MV and they tell me they don't have any.. instead they give me the dish washing wool!
Anyway tape the pickup before polishing unless you like "furry" pickups |

the hardware shop in SS2 opposite the police station got/had cos bought from there before.
and ace hardware is a pretty pathetic hardware shop. |

the MIK vantage back then were made by samick.
i've seen quite a few around 10yrs or so here the higher end vantage are ok. but upgrading them? i would just save my money. |
