texas special pups tat special eh?
y do u chose it apart from those.... er... noiseless, n so on?
*
From what I understand from strat users lah, the stacked coils on the noiseless makes them lose quite abit of the high end. Killing off the strats most famous tones.
Also lah, single coil no noise mana best? xD 60 cycle hum ftw laaaaaa xD (i just shot myself on the leg, i'm using a lace noiseless single coil lol)

Can we like start talking bout guitar gear like we used to?
As of late this place is quite dead, as well as little to nothing interesting to discuss anymore.

any cheap modulation pedals recommend? no behringers tongue.gif

artec? digitech? r they any good? any other brand that is cheap? i'm cheap haha.

usually wat u guys used in a pedalboard.
*
How cheap is cheap man?
I haven't tried Artec's yet lah
Also what type of modulation man?
but I'm plenty satisfied with my Biyang CH-7 (chorus).
I wasn't astounded at first? But after I moved the from after the delay to before the delay, and whaddya know?
The pedal went 180 and became like.... wow.
Very lush, almost creamy chorus. (I might sound like I'm wh***ing my own gear but heh, I like it =p)
BUT of course I haven't had the chance to try say like a CE-2 or anything so can't really say how good lah, but it's definitely better than the boss CH-1(?) (super chorus, i dun really remember the model number lol)
Got it for like 180 second hand, felt like an awesome purchase, it being true bypass and all.

For other modulations, like phasers and stuff I can't say much, don't play with those lol

yeah
danelectro is waaaaaay better than behringer IMO
I'll prolly get canned by EHX fans, but the danelectro fuzz is alot more flexible than the EHX big muff, which really is almost a one trick pony. =/

plenty of youtube vids on danelectro man =p
only thing is (as always with cheaper pedals)
the switch really looks funky, like it'll crap out anytime.
Plastic encasement isn't really much of a problem, cuz if the internals aren't secure it's gonna break down either ways.

They have switch mods for danelectro i think.
I also heard many saying the danelectro eq pedal works better and less noise than the boss eq-7 (regardless MIJ or MIT)
=/

Dimebuckers is too sharp for my usage..... kinda ironic in that sense that I actually bought a soon-to-be dimebag guitar........

I'm an EMG man through and through...... but I HAVE been tempted to dip into the Seymour Duncan Blackouts.......

And Vox amplugs wouldn't sound good in the Razorback..... it's more of a power issue rather then the tone issue.

My MT2 died suddenly yesterday night when playing it. I suspect its due to 1spot adapter. Anyone knows where can i send it for repair?
*
How many pedals are you powering using the 1spot?

Especially clipping pedals, they tend to have very low power consumption, a 9v battery can last easily 15-20 hours.

Adapters rock! But getting one with overly high amount of current will risk frying your pedal. If you're really lucky, you get both your pedal and your adapter fried !

Ebony is not necessarily better than rosewood.
Some ppl can't stand ebony as a fingerboard wood. It's quite a common misconception though that ebony is a better fingerboard wood.

guys how do u store your guitar if you're going to leave it for several months?
no hardcase.

- unstring the guitar? or not?
- lie on the floor? against the wall (in the closet)?
*
Must. Regardless the period. If you're gonna leave it, unstring it.
How you position it, it would be best if it's placed in an orientation the neck does not have anything pushing against it, so best is on the floor, or better if you have those stands which holds only the body.
