RM490. I figured a Boss MT-2 is already around RM350, and then the Mod will be another RM150......

This TL-2 sounds waaaaay heavier and more warm then the Metal Zone. Most likely due to the analog processing rather then the digital processing of the MT-2. It can achieve the nice scoop mids sound that I'm looking for (when paired with my Razorback, it's gonna be BRUTAL) and the "loose" setting will get you that BIG sound.

I think of this as a post-modded MT2.

The Mids are VERY responsive and can coax alot of tones from it. Much more sensitive then the MS-2 controls.

But right now, it's a little "buzzsaw sharp", which is how I kinda like it for like Dimebag or early metallica style distortion.

This is NOT a polite distortion...... If you're looking for something subtle, this is NOT the pedal you're looking for. This is a lean, mean, grinding machine.

Yup. If their Stereo Chorus comes in, I might consider that instead of the MXR one (That costs like, RM900).......

I don't have the MT-2, but I have heard it a bunch of time and almost bought one the last time. Thank god I didn't, because this is just one mean pedal.
Will try to mike up my Marshall to see if I can record some clips.

How long is the audition? I would go for a combination of a few songs. Start with some big Power Chord stuff, then some technical stuff and then some thing that everyone love.

You'll need a bigger watt amp if you're playing in a band. 10w is not enough when playing with a drummer.

Well, you might need to play with the EQ as well....... lay off the Highs and Bass, and roll up the Mids a bit.

What sounds good when you play solo also sounds alot different when playing with a group.

The problem with the prophesy's trem, it's not claw routed at the back..... means you can push down, but you can't pull up.

Nah, that was a much better guitar player, but even uglier than uncle jimmy, backstage playing......

And then they discovered it was Keith Richards.

Combination of alternate picking or economic picking is normally my ticket out.

YouTube can't do justice to the sound quality. Will TRY to make a recording via my Sennheiser mic and going through the UX2 as a DI box and then post up a Wav or MP3 of that.

If I have time, will record samples of the JCM2000 with the Wylde Overdrive too.

enteryourusername, yeah, I sent it to Ng at JS Music. Very highly recommended.

And Namqul, doing that CAN damage your guitar. Warping or other problems can occur. Most of the time I WILL carry my guitar around.

Used to have it in Ironwood. But now, no idea.

Oh, and the recording of my Marshall is up. Apologizing once again for tormenting you all with my horrid playing.

The muddinest is probably because I'm using a vocal mic. I'm a total noob when it comes to home recording, so any help will be appreciated. Hopefully by next year if I want to do more recording, I'll invest in the Shure SM57. Also, my UX2 isn't calibrated properly.

It's literally a setup and hit record situation tonight.

Will tweak when I have more time.
