The last time I used .008, it always snaps.
That's why you have to toughen up and upgrade to .009 or heck .011 Or just downgrade to a Bass |

I actually use .9 for my RR3 (I now dub my RR3 "Shreddy"), but changing up to .10s soon.
Will have to look for an OFR Pro unit first though....... as good as the licensed floyd on Shreddy, I don't have much confidence in it after awhile. |

But then again, Jackson screwed him over for not being able to come up with a signature model faster, and ESP jumped in and come up with a signature model almost instantly........ so a TRUE Laiho Fan should side with ESP

Well, TRUE fans don't regard it as the same class.... and the newer EVH 5150 III is supposed to be the true successor.

Microcube hands down. Small, portable, blends ok with effects, and for a decent price.

evalshtog , if you're ordering from overseas, make sure you get the voltage checked for our malaysian power supply. You know? American 120v for our Malaysian 240v.......
Otherwise you plug it in and KABOOM!!!!!!!!! |

pFFT. Any EPIC Metal Song should have Double Bass!
Otherwise, just go for some Maiden classics like The Trooper or Number of the beast. |

Everdying, I have Black Stone Cherry's first album. The only reason why I found out was because they were the opening act for BLS a few years back
And the MXR Wylde Overdrive (ZW44) is a completely different beast then the Digitech Heavy Metal. The ZW44 is meant to BOOST your existing signal, rather then give you a distorted sound. Sure, it distorts your sound abit, but it's not the amount of Gain you'll be expecting. |

Again, it's based on your needs. Does that 5k justify your needs for THAT guitar? I wanted the Herman Li Signature Egen, but 11k does NOT justify the needs. But a 5k guitar that is well made, plays like a dream and will last you forever might be more worth it. FYI, I don't have an endless bank account. If I did, you'd see Gibsons and Vintage Marshalls lining up my room already.
Me? I bought the Razorback because I needed a killer guitar that will make people forget I can't play guitar |

I never said "The ONE"...... I said "last you forever", by that I mean you'll still play it say 10 years from now.
But even I agree there can never be THE ONE for us GASers. And IpohBoY, like ever say, a Chorus and Delay is pretty important, but I would say go for a Wah! If you're a rock or metal player, you'll almost certainly need a good wah. The dunlop GCB-95 is a good place to start. On a side note: I have been listening and watching...... but mostly watching..... an unhealthy amount of Paramore..... What can I say...... Orange haired chicks are hot. Side Note Number 2: Does anybody know where I can commission a custom Acoustic Guitar? Doesn't have to be THAT fantastic..... but I want a custom one for my dad's birthday as I kind of Broke his first acoustic when I was 13 This post has been edited by blacktrix: Aug 20 2008, 05:57 PM |

Street should be around USD 499 range. So we're looking at roughly RM2400 if it's imported via bentz........
If I got it, the first thing would to drill a damn hole and put the selector, Gibson style. |

If only I could get it under 1k....... Hmmmmm. I wonder if you can mount P90 pickups on that sucker....... This post has been edited by blacktrix: Aug 22 2008, 11:50 PM |
