Thanks for all the advice...
Initially I was looking for new 12" rims to replace stock ones but cannot find, therefore looking at 14" now... I cannot ask much from this small car... sometimes feel its underpower but when pushing the accelerator harder feel like its flying off... How bad is the FC and performance after this "upgrade"? QUOTE(camel90 @ Apr 22 2011, 08:01 AM) well, the bigger the size, the heavier mass rotation of that rim is. since yours is 850cc, i suggest you to go for 14' max QUOTE(kuaLe_AGX @ Apr 22 2011, 08:23 AM) QUOTE(michael9413 @ Apr 22 2011, 08:55 AM) |

14" is not that huge difference... maybe slightly more only... er... hard to tell it depends on the total weight of the tire and rim... maybe u can try to find kenari or kelisa OE rim... if not try to find lightweight rims... hard to tell whether got or not...

QUOTE(Conroe @ Apr 15 2011, 04:52 AM) u want 17" i'm selling mine used previously on my car..QUOTE(stinger900 @ Apr 15 2011, 08:56 AM) May i ask,, what rims should i fit into myvi se?? a 15 inch rim or 16 or 17??..Kinda new about car stuff =). QUOTE(camel90 @ Apr 15 2011, 11:26 AM) 15' is just nice. 15x7 perhaps? wider rims if u going for 16" i suggest go for 17" directly coz the price of tyre almost the same.. 17" might overkill the 1.3L.. but my friend been using 17" taiwan rim might be not that light.. and he doesn't seems to hav complains on loss power or effect FC.. he said just the same as before plus he claimed now even better pek corner with 17" lowered.. and he is on gab lowered springs oso.. no sangkut and stuff..16' is okay too. i looks nice on myvi. but find those lightweight rims because myvi is just 1.3L in my opinion, 17' is somehow too overkill for 1.3L. hurmmm |

QUOTE(snake1983 @ May 5 2011, 11:52 AM) anyone know this guy from mudah.com selling sportrims at shah alam http://www.mudah.my/li?ca=9_s&id=25660 Been to his shop last year…One of the worker layan me, walk around to see their rims, discuss about pricing n etc… No doubt the rims choices there are many, and always full with customer one his shop…but his trade-in price a bit low and tyre price also slightly higher compare to Klang. End up went to Klang to get things done.want to know anyone purchase rims from him before any feedback regarding the quality and workmanship? I was just wondering why is it the rims range from 15' and 16' are so cheap comparing with klang and other tires shop. For Klang wise, recommend the blue color shop (Hooi Seng if I am not mistaken). High trade in price, good service & many choices. Had bad experience with Kedai Papan Jalan Kapar. I stand there 5 minutes no body come n layan. May b too busy kot… Just my comment. Kedai Papan Jalan Kapar is one of the landmark tyre shop in Klang. The shop orange color. If u are coming from Klang town direction, it would be on your right, opposite a Shell petrol station. This post has been edited by jason4883: May 5 2011, 04:15 PM |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Kedai papan is a famous tyre shop in Klang for it's rims & tyre price.. but due to the popularity they gain.. their service & workmanship hav go down.. b4 i would recommend kedai papan to whom ask me about good tire/rim shop but now better go to other shops.. Hooi Seng?? or Jooi Seng? a Yokohama tire shop izzit? i haven't go to that shop.. but i know where it is.. coz i've read a bad review on that shop from a forumer in zth.. as "they do accepting high trade-in on 2nd tires and rims but they always like to play on business tactics and hidden charges.." taken this quote from the guy posted on zth.. |
