ok... try to change to Hankook V12, Yokohama A Drive or C Drive... or Falken 912...
change to 205/50 R16... i think that size will give you a lil more comfort... plus all the tires i recommend you have softer side wall then it will give you better comfort... |

QUOTE(Scissorshand @ Sep 27 2009, 11:19 AM) i know, but i think this rim gives the car a bad ass look. Maybe that's why it "tends" to provoke unintentionally. u can try PP2 or the GY F1 Assy... GY F1 Assy is currently can say the best... ask and see... On a diff note, i need to change the tyres, currently Advan A10 to something more quieter like Michellin PP2 or Yoko ES501. I think i can probably go for another 5k b4 i really need to change the rubbers. |

try out Toyo T1R, Michelin PP2, Yokohama S Drive, BS RE001... for more handling oriented...
Hankook V12 give u something in the middle, it's performance will be around 80%~90% off that group above... but it's braking distance is 1 of the best... for Comfort you have Michelin Primacy LC, Falken 912, Yokohama C Drive, Toyo DRB... cheapest among these tires is Hankook V12 and also Falken 912... should not more than RM200/pc... Dunlop... Zzzzz.... better skip it la... BTW the rim do u think you will go thru rough rough terrain and u still go fast and hit potholes purposely??? individual preference... my fren's Enkie Lightweight still fine after 5 yrs... now duno... coz 3 yrs ago he change car give to her bro already... QUOTE(kuman @ Oct 13 2009, 10:25 AM) thanks for the thought... bro try Hankook V12... comfort + performance... i guess i'll skip Dunlop then... he did offer me some GoodYear tires while adding around rm10-20 a piece as oppose to the DUnlop tires.. what about those Maxxis Tires any good? refer picture below.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « hmm also a nice thought on lightweight rims.. of course not purposely go into potholes and rough terrain.. i guess it would be ok if i stick to it.. since i think the thickness of the tires would help protect the rims as well (since i'm going to go with either 55/60 series tires) and this is the rims i'm eyeing.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « kuman Maxxis i duno never try as no one wanna be white mice... u can??? don really trust those in wet traction especially... so far... Hankook V12, and Federal 595 has good feedback from user for Cheap and Good tire... especially V12 almost out of stock in Klang Valley becoz of AW Forum hot topic on this tire... wait... urs is Vios... ok... this offer u comfort... this is the combination u have as Dugong has softer suspension setup... if you look to improve handling please try Michelin PP2 u can get 185/55 (RM220) or 195/55 (RM240)... ur choice...
Michelin PP2 will have harsher ride compare to V12 but it compensate the soft suspension setup in the Dugong to get more feedback to ur steering... if you did not drive aggressively then Hankook V12 is ok for you... but sure Michelin PP2 is a bit quieter than Hankook V12 because of V12 is directional thread and PP2 is Asymmetric thread... for ur case the car's noise insulation is not that good so V12 noise might be more noticeable... but still better than some the others tires available... of course again this is we cannot compare with down to earth comfort tires like Michelin Primacy LC, BS Turanza AR10, Continental CC-1, Falken 912, Toyo DRB, Yokohama C Drive or others... FYI Hankook V12 is similar categories as Yokohama S Drive, Toyo T1R, BS RE001 Michelin PP2... and some others... budget vs performance wise i'll go for V12 priced around RM190 for 195/55 R15... but the stock is quite limited... try to ask Klang's Ban Hooi if they have any on hand if you can't find it here in PJ or KL sorry for writing too long... |

comfort try Primacy LC... but for size try 185/65 R14 u get higher side wall... 195/60 might make ur FC suffer a bit...

cannot... tire changes must made within the 3% rules...
ur current tires diameter must be at least +/- 3% of ur currents ones... and ur wheel arch also is 1 of the problem |

14" is not that huge difference... maybe slightly more only... er... hard to tell it depends on the total weight of the tire and rim... maybe u can try to find kenari or kelisa OE rim... if not try to find lightweight rims... hard to tell whether got or not...
