QUOTE(6UE5T @ Apr 26 2020, 08:06 PM) You need to know exactly the details of the original rims then only can tell the difference. I never register in Autoworld actually. What about Konig, Lenso & Advanti? Are they any good?

QUOTE(amscouzach57 @ Jul 20 2020, 04:24 AM) What about Konig, Lenso & Advanti? Are they any good? Yes, they good. In fact they’re very underrated. Most of the people just recognized those JDM wheels. Which is why they rather use fake rims. I’ve used only both konig and Advanti for almost 10 years. I’ve never used lenso but all I’ve heard are only positive remarks from my friends.

QUOTE(amscouzach57 @ Jul 20 2020, 04:24 AM) What about Konig, Lenso & Advanti? Are they any good? Yes, they're decent. Konig and Advanti are manufactured by the same facilities with Enkei Tuning in Taiwan so they're good quality. Many models are also flow form technology so quite lightweight. I am using Konig Hypergram now on my Evo 9, size 17x9 only weigh 7+kg so almost as light as original Japan Enkei RPF1 but the price is less than half, so it's an excellent value for money. Lenso is also decent, but made in Thailand. Some models are also flow form technology. The one I used last time on my son's car was 17x8, weighing 8+kg which is reasonable middle weight.

QUOTE(kiats123 @ Oct 18 2020, 09:28 PM) how do you tell original vs fake rims sir? please do share... The finishing, the markings, weight, colors are all different, and of course the prices are much different. You need to pay attention to the little details of the original ones so you can differentiate with the fakes. For example: - Ori Enkei RPO1 is lighter by about 1-1.5 kg than fakes, the Enkei and JLL markings on the spokes are finer and thinner. - Ori TE37/CE28/RE30 are much lighter (like 2-3kg/pc lighter) than fakes. The fakes will say "Design by Japan" or "Japan" only but not "Made in Japan". Fake have double PCD but original only single PCD where the other holes are just to lighten the rims but not for bolt mounting. This post has been edited by 6UE5T: Oct 30 2020, 03:08 PM

Find something relatively lightweight around 7-8kg/pc. Stock I think is about 9.5-10kg/pc. I'd suggest get Advanti, Konig, or Lenso flow forming, usually price around rm1.7-2.1k.

Hello Im new here and appreciate if someone would show some love to me . Im currently driving a Myvi gen 3 1.3l that comes with 14inch rims. I have upgraded into a 15 inch Enkei Onx rims with 185/55 tyres. I want to ask for some opinions. I want to upgrade to a 16inch Advanti Storm s1 inch rims with 195/50 tyres. The question is, does my 1.3 Myvi Gen 3 is capable of accelerating with this new set up or will there be a noticable differences in terms of heavier tyres to accelerate when compared to my current set up. Is it recommended for me to upgrade to this 16inch set up? Thank youu in advancee!

Advanti Rim weight consider lighter compare to others and you can look for tyre which is lighter (if not mistaken Continental MC6 was quite light) to make the wheel feel lighter for acceleration
