Dear all,

I'm thinking to change my original rim (steel wheel) to sport rim (alloy wheel), but not sure whether is good or bad, due to the road that I usually drive is in very poor condition, a lot of hole, bump etc..
I don't have any knowledge in this, can anyone giving me some advice?

Thank You Very Much

for sport rim always will be cheaper in Klang area > Rawang area > Shah Alam area.
but if you staying at KL area and looking for sport rim. i would recommend one shop at Taman Muda there, opposite Maxis service center (We Automobile).
Because previously i was searching to change rim as well so i doing quite some research on nearby area.
Trade in 15" old rim to new sport rim 15" only add RM340. they also few Lenso Thailand made rim, i just need to top up RM740 for it.

*heard people say over the internet this is the KL branch, they got shop at klang as well. so their price is same as klang price.

I also have another requirement, since my car in dark color, i would prefer non dark color rim.

Keep your current Steel Rim.
What I encountered was Steel Rim is not as easy to dent as Alloy Rim (Sport Rim).
Previously I used Steel Rim for 4 years and never dent before. After use Alloy Rim, 1 year plus already dented 3 out of 4 Rim.
FYI, I'm not using low profile tyre and yet I'm still dented my alloy rim.

Am planning to upgrade to bigger rotor using enkei tuning 15" x 6.5j sc09 on myvi. Anyone has experience fittting 11" rotor to this size and model? Currently using JUN oem size rotor.

Then your normal route must have many bad potholes, and/or you're not careful enough to avoid those. I've used sport rims for more than 20yrs now and never had a single rim dented/cracked despite using relatively low profile tires (10-11 cm sidewall height), and also for the most part going thru roads that had potholes too.

I'd avoid coz why bother buying such rims when there are so many other perfectly fine rims available??
