spinel : if he still scratching his back, u take him out and check between the quill if something like mites or lice was bothering him. If u can found anything there, u can try to bath him use wheatgerm or oatmeal shampoo to see if he still scratching or not smile.gif

Hi does anyone have one for sale?
*
you can try to PM coolerthings to ask. He's selling off all his hedgie or u can opt for adoption from Reanne smile.gif

QUOTE(maruko2891 @ Nov 15 2008, 08:15 PM)
anyone wanna give one to a lonely owner who's desperate for a hedgehod.. for free n will take care for it full time!! haha
wanted one after watching over the hedge.. haha
*
there is nothing free in this world.. if u want it u should be able to buy 1 for urself then u will know taking care an animal is not as easy as saying u like it cuz its cute =]
There are cost to pay if u wan something and this apply for hedgie too.
You can try to opt for adoption from Reanne but I would suggest u to really read and research a lot cuz she wont let the hedgie easily to people she redeem not enough research

ypu can try to opt for Breeder Celect.. cuz its absord pee and smell.. and if ur hedgie toilet trained should not be a problem u can change it once a month or once every 2 weeks... mine is depends if i saw already dirty i will clean it.. and normally i just change the tray and pick up the poo outside tray so you wont need to bath ur boy everyday... and it might cause him trauma though xD I mean bath him everyday will made him think whenever u walk towards him means he got shower laugh.gif

cannot... unless u plan to breed... breed also u can put them together only for mating after that u must separate them back to individual. no matter what Hedgehog is individual or we called them solitary so u must never put 2 of them in the same place.

lol what's the sudden change to hedgie?
eniwei... make sure u check the hoglet carefully... mostly hoglet that reach 6 weeks or 2 months old will have a nice quill as it means the quills are nice n well build and can be use to protect themself... then u see the eyes... if both eyes are clear n open d and looks active then it might be a good to bring back home... cuz sometimes u can still see ppl or shop sellings hoglet that are half open n still underage...

there is nothing can be fixed cuz this is the main prob that we face if we wan to let them run on the wheel.... but u can wash their feet everyday if u want. If u see their nails are dirty, prepare n lil bit of warm water not too much then put ur hedgie there n they will try to run or move around when they move automatically the water will clean their nails

i can pick up mine but she will gila2 sniff at your hand then bite 1 lah.She damn eats lots oohh...can eat till 2 tablespoon between 4 hours now, really have to stop this routine haha....
*
make sure u wash ur hand after u feed her if not she might think ur hand is a food cuz the smell might still left on ur hand. Be careful to not feed her too much. Just feed her the normal portion if not later she will easily get obbesed which is not good for her smile.gif

royal canin for cats... shocking.gif

so any pro advices?
i read both the details and compared... nth visually incommon except the packaging = =~
anything thats in the food itself made it different?

I will say yes. RC cat is more suitable to feed hedgehog. If not mistaken the protein is about 30% for the cat and there r some other reason but I kinda forgot. Also must take note, if the hedgie still hoglet it would be good to feed them RC babycat as it contains more protein and the kibbles is smaller which is easier for hoglets to eat it. When they reach about 5-6 months old u can try to switching it into RC adult as the protein is lower and the kibbles is bigger than RC babycat. As for me, I follow this method cuz when I still feeding my boy which babycat till he was about 8month plus ended up he gain more weight and look obessed because of the protein so I changed it back to babycat and can see that now he doesnt look as fat as before. But currently I'm feeding him another brand of kibbles called Eagle holistic chicken flavour and some other brand and mix it for him.

Just sharing my experience, u guys can choose to follow or just ignore it smile.gif
