if still hoglet, its good to fed them RC babycat or 32? but when they reach around 4 to 5 months++ better changed to RC kitten cuz its low in protein, if fed too much RC 32 later became 'pig' like mine
but now he became so big =.= dunno caused by new kibbles or because he already a big boy now empty : I'm not sure bout the case... cuz as far as I know I never encounter ppl who give another hedgie to foster the hoglet.. |

Better switch his food to RC babycat. This is the best food for hedgie
as for the litter, if u dun mind try to use Breeder Celect litter cat. This is what I use and its odorless... I have never use the silica gel before so I can't say anything. I only recommend stuff that we have been used and have been proved by owner who used it as well Hope u get along fine with Sammy and welcome to the family! |

QUOTE(gaigene @ Oct 28 2008, 06:32 PM) Ohhh.... I know what fleece is already. I also have the Ikea one. I got 2.... whats that mean? Need to slowly change him ah..... ?? Coz I've only been feeding him since Sarturday. I'll change his diet slowly. Thanks to all for the advise. Empty_reg: Thanks. I know what fleece is already. anyway... the food please try what babymoli had said.. slowly changed the food.. if not it will cause stomach problem to ur sammy and the litter... if can better got for breeder celect as its the most recommended for litter. me n babymoli have experienced before that the wood shaving stick to our hedgie's private part and also sometimes it can also stick with the fur near the stomach... and its really hard to take it off without hurting the pokimon if u aware. So now I changed to BC for more safety as potty trained, normally I just pick on spot everyday if he got poo and throw the BC inside the try n changed to a new one... i changed his beddings all 2 weeks once when I think its dirty then I changed |

spinel : yeah they can easily get car sick unless u know how to prevent it. If wan to bring ur hedgie out which is not advisable *unless u bring it to vet*, make sure u use those shoe box with bedding inside or u can use carrier but make sure u cover it up so they cant see anything outside. like put the carrier inside a bag.
akrami : there is no good sign or bad sign. Soon after u take them out to play or hold when they wan to do their business they will just do it |
