Some hedgie very fussy like mine... but now he eat every new kibble that I intro to him smile.gif if u change their food in one shoot they wont eat it cuz they never touch it before n the smell is diff also if u change it one shoot its not good for their stomach... If u wan I can give u some of my eagle pack kibbles to fed ur hedgie hehe

Is this a diet problem ? because i only feed it the same kitten food all the time.

like what Kelvin pointed out.. maybe its genetic problem.... but better try to mix some other brand for Mr Moggle smile.gif
I mean try to mix few suitable n good brand for him rather than only fed him the same things over n over they may get bored thou smile.gif as we also will get bored of eat the same things again n again

Hope Mr. Moogle can recover soon smile.gif

if still hoglet, its good to fed them RC babycat or 32? but when they reach around 4 to 5 months++ better changed to RC kitten cuz its low in protein, if fed too much RC 32 later became 'pig' like mine laugh.gif

but now he became so big =.=
dunno caused by new kibbles or because he already a big boy now biggrin.gif

empty : I'm not sure bout the case... cuz as far as I know I never encounter ppl who give another hedgie to foster the hoglet..

Better switch his food to RC babycat. This is the best food for hedgie smile.gif
as for the litter, if u dun mind try to use Breeder Celect litter cat. This is what I use and its odorless... I have never use the silica gel before so I can't say anything. I only recommend stuff that we have been used and have been proved by owner who used it as well smile.gif

Hope u get along fine with Sammy and welcome to the family!

Ohhh.... I know what fleece is already. I also have the Ikea one. I got 2....  biggrin.gif. So i just use it like the newspaper rite??

Need to slowly change him ah..... ?? Coz I've only been feeding him since Sarturday. I'll change his diet slowly. Thanks to all for the advise.

Empty_reg: Thanks. I know what fleece is already.  nod.gif  biggrin.gif

whats that mean? rclxub.gif
anyway... the food please try what babymoli had said.. slowly changed the food.. if not it will cause stomach problem to ur sammy smile.gif

and the litter... if can better got for breeder celect as its the most recommended for litter. me n babymoli have experienced before that the wood shaving stick to our hedgie's private part and also sometimes it can also stick with the fur near the stomach... and its really hard to take it off without hurting the pokimon if u aware. So now I changed to BC for more safety smile.gif

as potty trained, normally I just pick on spot everyday if he got poo and throw the BC inside the try n changed to a new one... i changed his beddings all 2 weeks once when I think its dirty then I changed smile.gif

spinel : yeah they can easily get car sick unless u know how to prevent it. If wan to bring ur hedgie out which is not advisable *unless u bring it to vet*, make sure u use those shoe box with bedding inside or u can use carrier but make sure u cover it up so they cant see anything outside. like put the carrier inside a bag.

akrami : there is no good sign or bad sign. Soon after u take them out to play or hold when they wan to do their business they will just do it smile.gif

the symptom : u can see the greenish thing as it means they vomit smile.gif yeah the idea is to prevent them knowing that u bring them for a car ride... but seriously it is not advisable cuz it can made ur hedgie stress as what my boy experienced and he din really wan to eat until he settle down himself after the ride

I never encounter such thing before.. start from the day I used BC ken never eats it lol

did he get enuf food? cuz last time when I'm taking care my friend's glider.. she's try to eat the BC too... and when I give her something to eat she let go the BC... my conclusion is she's hungry althou she eats most of the food there =.="

since u have changed it back to wood shaving do inspect him for these few days... if he's okay then try to change to BC again see what his reaction smile.gif
