I beg to differ, trading is a business, not a hobby. In order to be succesful in forex, you must trade to win, and focus on attaining your final goal. Extra income is one of the benefits, but amassing wealth should be your primary goal if you want to trade forex for your day job.

PS: I'm a full time daytrader for few months now, speculating in futures and now forex.
*
Same here, I aiming for the ability to trade forex as my daily job. I giving myself 2 years time to prepare myself before I use a bigger equity. Wish the two years is enough tongue.gif

@princess_autumn87
I will send it by tonight. Cause now abit busy....

Edit:

I also start from a zero background. I juz start my first step by reading books and books...

Trading methodology you can get it in public forex forum like FF, babypips, forex-tsd.

I'm not sure which one is work for you. BUt I guess there sure be one.... Juz remember, stick to the one you prefer the most. Here's the advice:

Do not look for another system
If you are not trading well, look at your problem. DO not look for another system, technique or indicator because the new solution will always, always, always create an equal or bigger problem.

Edit:
By the way, I'm in Genting KFC now, using the free WiFI to reply our LYn forum. Feels nice. I think I should buy a seat in here and make my trade from here every day, nice and cool environemnt

My EJ. See charts and you will understand all. Guess I will prefer short, but I will juz wait until I found a good entry wif a good risk reward ratio.

PS: This under my longterm

No. These courses are never worth it. You only can be a succesful trader via lots of your own experience; not from other people's experiences or lectures.

You can gather a lot of information from investopedia and babypips. After reading these sites thoroughly, you should start demo-ing and read bloomberg, economist, and other business journals including WSJ.

The best combination i have found so far is the usage of fundamental and technical analysis. Technical analysis is an analysis of emotions from traders, speculators in the short run. Fundamental analysis is an analysis of the economy; which is the primary trend in the long run.

Oh, and if you don't like reading, then you shouldn't be trading. smile.gif

Trading forex is a 24 hour job. smile.gif

Agreed, the most important part is experience and losing part. The more you lose, the more you learn. That's me. I learn from my losing trade, but not winning trade. Now gonna start do the weekly analysis for another 3 pair...

15m. Juz wish I'm right. Hehe. SL is there, so wont be hurting me much if it does goes bull.

Added on August 25, 2008, 12:32 pmI guess today morning. Ej does win all if comparing the volatility. The Ej is move faster than the GJ. OMG... GJ juz like a turtle see ing all moving..

Added on August 25, 2008, 12:36 pmBoth trade is closed. Peace. I know you will telling me there is still alot of short to goes since it broken the support. But I juz following my methodology, I need to train myself to be discipline. Maybe if i didn't follow my rule for this round. I will win for extra 20pips. But maybe in the next time, I will lose for extra 50pips. So i will stay constant wif my way. Hehe

GU closed wif +5
EU closed wif +17
