Too much calcium diet. White urine means ur piggy is discharging excess calcium. How old is ur piggy already? if less than 3-4months still ok I guess, if over 4months then gotta try cut down their diet that contains high calcium. Get Oat or Timothy hay instead of alfafa or else they are gonna get stones

No hays? As far as I know white urine means too much calcium. About running away, try "baby proof" your cage. Check this sites:

Yea hays is a must, its like rice for human and grass for cow. Its a must one, cannot say don't have or don't want. Since ur GP is still young I suggest you to get Oxbow brand quality alfafa hay, later you can change to other hay

Remember, you need GREAT patience with GP especially in bonding. Mine still keep running away from me no matter how I bribe him

There is no such thing as "how many time can i feed my guinea pig per day ?" as their main food (hay and pallets) MUST always be present in the cage. Poop is not a prob if you toilet train them. Just buy athe litter box in pet shop, put some bedding and throw all their poo in there. Soon ur GP will realize thats the pooping place, although "accidents may happen"

Same here, air-tight tupperware that way the hays and pallets won't "masuk angin" hahahah and will stay dry and fresh.

Like what problem?

Store usually seals the hay air tight and the plastic is not open till a buyer buys them. The rule is only applied when you keep the hay in a plastic and opens it frequently I suppose

@neshie: Petaling street condition is really horrible, that day i saw a small cockroach inside a hamster tank yucks!!. I'll never get any pets from any other pet shop except Pet shack

Today went to Pets Wonderland
- All the GP look sick
- Some have injure eyes (e.g 1 side eyes is always close and look like no eyeball at all with dirty crust on them
- Some are skinny
- All look very cold and sleep near each other, can see them "shivering"

And Carrefour Midvalley + Subang Parade
- All hamster are cold
- One family bought some hamsters and the staff just took a cup (those that you drink longan water or honey sea coconut type of cup) and just scoop them like rice. Those that weren't scoop properly just fell back into the container, some look injured or at least sprained their back and all run away.

Bottomline : Fark those shops
