QUOTE(adriane_1707 @ Aug 12 2008, 01:41 PM) Non other than PET SHACK Not trying to promote in here but as a reminder to those who wish to buy GP in the future better get from reputable breeders like Sharil or good pet shops like Pet Shack cause you don't have to : - Worry your GP lack nutrients from their mother's milk (normal pet shop separates babies and mum at a very young age, therefore the babies lack proper milk from their mother which is very essential for providing sufficient immunity) - Worry your GP suffer any weird disease, ticks, flea infection or suffer malnutrition. - Train your GP to poo poo or pee pee in the toilet (When I 1st bought Boru from Pet Shack he automatically went to the toilet tray to do his business, noneed train So think wisely where to get your GP to safe your time, hassle and everything. When the buying stops at those normal pet shop, when there is no demand, then less GP would suffer or mass breed in the tiny aquarium tank there. QUOTE(Jamien @ Aug 16 2008, 03:43 PM) @Vor: Beautiful setup! If i'm a piggy I wanna live in it! Haha thanks and speaking about toilet train, its really hard training piggies to pee in the toilet @emino: No such thing as mis-teach. But just weird. I thought you said Leon was toilet trainned? QUOTE(tina_yess @ Aug 17 2008, 12:01 AM) hi... i just wanna make sure, how many of u guys that put ur GP in bedroom? i keep thinking of owning a gp but i just move n my room just toooooooooo small!! Added on August 17, 2008, 12:02 amoh ya, other Q is, will gp have loud voice? QUOTE(Jamien @ Aug 17 2008, 12:03 AM) Vor puts his GPs in his room next to the bed. Yeah as Jamien pointed out, I put mine in my room just next to me hahaha but prepare to use good brand bedding cause if your GP are not properly toilet train, its gonna be a lil smelly. Luckily my room got aircond which helps circulate the air around but still need to clean the cage 2 times per week in order to avoid build up ammonia smell. All my ladies have the luxury of getting shown off to the guest since they live in the living room. Loud voice in what sense? They do wheek loudly but not enough to be heard next door. And only if they see the person who frequently feeds them or plays with them. My GP wheek quite loud when they know my gf is approaching them with their daily fresh vegetables. My room is located on the 2nd floor but if I don't close the door, the wheeking is loud enough & can be heard downstairs as well haha but its really a joy listening to them wheeking ^^ |

Damn is it just me or is it Guinea Pig fighting season right now? Really sick & totally tired of my 3 GP Fighting with each other, all wanna be dominant and won't give in. It was fine in the beginning and now they are like bitter enemies. Discussed and made a conclusion that we shall be giving up our 2 aby for adoption for free, do check out the adoption thread soon. Not willing to buy or make extra cages since we have very limited space in the room.

QUOTE(Juztiny @ Sep 1 2008, 10:53 PM) Wow...your GPs arevvery fortunate to be your pets, because you built a mansion for them to live. Haha thanks, actually its not difficult to clean, just take the bathroom floor mats, wash them with Dettol, soak them in the pail for 10-15mins, rinse and clean with Vinegar + water mixture (3:1) till dry. Do the same to the accessories (house, food tray, toilet etc), change newspaper, wipe coroplast with the same vinegar + water mixture, put new newspaper & mat. Usually complete in 40mins-1hour time. Cleans the cage every week.Must be quite tough to clean then...but good work, keep it up! QUOTE(sharil_routh @ Sep 1 2008, 10:54 PM) Yeah its wider. Bed is placed exactly opposite of cage as usual hahahaha |
