Hi,

Let me start of with a little introduction of myself, i'm a guy 21 this yr, was a skyline freak since young age. Just wondering is it worth buying a skyline r34 gt-t, i understand this car is consider an old car, yr of production was dated 99' to 01' am i right ? correct me if i'm wrg ya. So rather than making assumption from myself, it is better to ask seniors n the experience ppl to gv some opinion on this topic.

Your opinion will be much appreciated, ty smile.gif

1. I have RM xxxK, which car should i buy? or
2. Does XXX car is good, etc?

well, I always welcome these kind of threads anyway.

Hi gerrardinho,
Of cos if i hav a lot money, i wouldn't mind at all, in fact i might probably getting the gtr version. Basically, at the moment i still can't afford the gt-t yet, mayb in the near future. But still, i'll gv myself a time frame to reach my objective, mayb in a yr time. Actually for myself, i'm not really fancy on the speed tat much, a little bit of cos got la... but more on the look of the car(will modifiy into GTR wide body if got chance), really attracted by the look so much, especially the taillight of the r34 version, just so hard to resist it. So now i will just see wat others ppl say about the it, just getting some feedback =)

Hi Drifter,
Ya... i just red through almost half the fast & furious forum, notice there are quite a number of such similar thread but on different model la... The reason behind for starting such thread mayb because someone need a little encouragement, motivation n positive feedback, at least tat the reason for me starting the thread. Actually is quite fun also la, can read others ppl opinion, their ideas, chatting around. So hope to see u giving more feed back on this topic too, cya.

R34 GTT RB25DET (single Turbo,5 Speed)not worth it la,still have to pay ard 170-190K,get skyline R34 GTR 220k RB26DETT(Twin Turbo,6 Speed) or may consider S15 Spec R 120-140K(SR20DET,6 Speed) a lot of parts to play with,if u wan a damn sport car tink over the parts u can get in M'sia 1st.
Be aware when U drive a sport car in M'sia,a lot of Grand Theft Auto here too..cheers

I have a cousin who did brought R34 GT-T. He said the most he can churned from the engine is just 300hp, that's 20hp from the original. Also need to change oil frequently if always full throttle, which means the oil easily become so thin like water after excessive drive. He said the engine block of RB25 is so thin not like RB26, which not much engine bore can be done to up the engine displacement.

So my advice if you just wanna use standard engine without modding it just go for GT-T...if not get GT-R so you have lot's of options to increase the power.. laugh.gif

R34 is too bulky for drifting, better go for S15..
