it's not universal BDP as claimed
need a mod to hack doh.gif

When they use the term "universal player" just means it plays back all types of discs (like BD, DVD, SACD, CD, etc). Doesn't mean it is region free. "Universal" not the same thing as "region free".

Even the universal adapter isn't really universal, you need to make sure the voltage first, otherwise you'll need a portable transformer. laugh.gif

I thought universal adapter means 110-240V, i.e. can accept all voltage.

So confusing isn't it when "universal" has different meaning for different things rclxub.gif

Don't know yet.. I'm still waiting for Digital Connection (www.digitalconnection.com) reply to me. They will be giving me 2 quotes ; UPS & US Postal service.

I guess it should be around Rm600-Rm800 as what 1 forummer poster here earlier...
*
If using US Postal Service then it wouldn't be that expensive. For 10 lbs using Express Mail International it is USD74.75. Maybe UPS is more expensive.

My message meant for moomoos since he and I are in the same town (Ipoh). If I were in Penang I'd be happy to bring over to your place. You're in Penang right?

as I mentioned to ronn previously you ipoh-pg fellas have it easy... slightly over 1hour trip cukup between this 2 places....

we kl fellas need 2 hours to reach ipoh.. sigh..
*
Ipoh to PG more like 1-and-a-half hours, so only 30 mins more than KL to Ipoh.

Aiyah, 2 hours KL to Ipoh still quite short mah. Can organize day trip to come up and we bring you out for makan.

Hopefully a firmware update will fix this issue for your 52.

Does Pioneer update firmware regularly?
