Guys. I wanna know how safe it is to send your cats for boarding? Would it be like a hot zone to spread disease and virus? I did it once, but now its more risky cos 2 cats are veterans and it would be so devastated to get them exposed to disease/virus. Some more they'll be caged (arkk!). So kesian

This year my maid's following us balik kampung so the cats need to be taken care of. Any good suggestions around Shah Alam area?

speaking about disease and virus, it will be anywhere. not only vet boarding, petshop boarding, or even friends house that have cats or dogs. it can even attack anytime.

unless that boarding place only taking care for only your cats.

the worst enemy in my opinion are like fleas, mites, ticks, ringworm, etc. i hate all this, never mention it, i will straight away shake hand to start world war eheheh.

even a cat that admitted to the vet, also will bother me 24/7 ehehehe.. i will always ask that vet, make sure i dont want to see fleas. if suddenly got fleas, i want FREE frontline they said yes ahahaha.

well i'm ok with cage boarding. its not like FOREVER.. for awhile only. beside, can't expect much for cats to be roam in a boarding place. i rather want them to be cage to avoid interact with other stranger cats, avoid fight and bites.

the best place is your own friends house. only if they willing to care lah ehehehe.. for sure u have friends with cats too right. its ok for cage for awhile. and for sure your friends cat will fight over your cat - you might no want war to happen in your friend house.

i'm sure your cat will understand why they are cage for that time. to protected them from other strangers when you are away. you are not abusing them if you want the best for them

last time my friend boarding her cat at another friend house. because of "careless" that cat jump from 5th floor. end up paying high RM for medical. lucky that cat is still alive. from that moment, she boarding her cats with cage at other house.

Hmm. Quite a relief to hear that. I should find a place asap before the boarding place is full then. Last time I siap call the MAS pet hotel. Hahaha. Was SO desperate tht time.

Atschooooooooooo!! I'm back home already with Oren lying on the floor in front of me. Believe or not, 12 yrs of taking care of cats, and I'm still allergic to them! Haha. I wish there is some allergic reverse pill that I can eat so I won't sneeze, have flu and have my eyes bengkak playing with cats.

Its not super bad, only when I carry the cat and hug the cat. I won't have flu if I don't do that, but hey, cats are SO tempting!! Mesti nak pelukk!!! I have to constantly wash my hands (more than 20 rounds a day) from touching my furry critters!

Oren is the shorthair right? yaiks u get allergy on shorthair, i can't imagine if it is long hair. u have to us mask to go to my house ahahaha.. else you getting the flu and eyes bengkak straight away
