My net is back to normal around 6pm.

I just store my DVD in the cakebox. Just label them properly. Works for me as I rarely use them.

My RS download are slower than usual for this week. Normally 1 download with 3 threads can reach maximum 1M speed. But now only by downloading 2 or 3 downloads with 10 threads can reach maximum 1M speed.

I must say that not only RS, downloads from other http site also like this.

10GB per day non accumulate? or 80GB per month for new account?
Why keep on changing rules? They should just made up their mind. Does other one click hosting like Megaupload keep changing the rules? Sh*t, the new rules sucks.

I'm still trying to digest what RS means. My account is going to expire by Nov. If i were to extend it, my account still stay 10GB per day or 80GB per month?

Gah...I just read the news all over again. Account extension will be affected. SH*T!!!!!

I dun think there is anymore accumulation. Because i left my remaining traffic at 3GB last night and this morning i only seeing 10GB. If accumulate, it should be 13GB.

I hope they will change the rule reeaallllllyyyy soon else i will just switch over to Megaupload. MU links are also abundant.

I always extend my account via paypal. So I really think that this new rules S*CKS!!

I believe even right now MU has a lot of users. MU is always the fierce competitors of RS. MU is at 2nd place after RS. What u can find with RS, most of them are also available in MU. But we don't see MU frequently changing their rules like RS, right?

At least the latest changes like FileMigrator is useful. I'm gonna create collector account and transfer my files ASAP.( before RS change rules again)

BTW, I wanna ask, if 10GB is used up, 1GB from TrafficShare will be allocated, right? Let's say i only used up 500MB, so left another half 500MB. On the next day, 10GB will be added.

So what will happen to that unused 500MB?

I have not yet finish today's 10GB quota, still have 300MB left But RS suddenly add another 1GB from TrafficShare, making it in total 1.3GB in Traffic Left. What the?

When download traffic runs out, RS will automatically allocate 1GB from TrafficShare. But in my case, my download traffic still has 300MB, but RS already add in another 1GB, making my download traffic left is 1.3GB. I planned my download mah, so that the download traffic will be left with just maybe 20-50MB and wait for next day's 10GB. This way, only 20-50MB will be wasted.

But RS cincai add in 1GB from TrafficShare!!! Last night RS add 1GB again even though I still have 500MB left.

I'm gonna used all my TrafficShare 46GB by today.

I also plan to convert my RapidPoints into download traffic since I don't plan to extend RS anymore.

I will download from RS into another server and then download back into my computer.

Yeah lor, RS just cincai add in 1Gb from TrafficShare.

But dunno how to send Megaupload files into my server using my normal method.
I normally use 1 line link like this format to upload into my server

But dunno how to do so for Megaupload.

I have one assumption on why RS take 1GB from TrafficShare and add into download traffic even though there are still remaining MB in download traffic. It could be because the file size that are currently been download are bigger than remaining download traffic.

For example: remaining download traffic is 100MB but I start download of a file size of 200MB. RS detect that the file size I'm downloading is bigger than my remaining download traffic, thus add another 1GB from Traffic Share.

This is just my assumption. Need to do more testing on this.

I always get full speed using flashget. If can't reach maximum speed then I just reset the IP.

I wonder why ppl keep say accounts generate using points is illegal. That reward is created by RS/MU themselves to promote the usage. Else who bother to upload? If RS/MU dun like ppl doing that, then they can remove that program. But this will cause ppl to turn to other hosting.
