omg, now i cant use RS anymore

Contact ur seller or Rapidshare support.

QUOTE(tofuwizard @ Sep 19 2008, 06:39 PM)
Just to add sumore, if the link ask you to login to your premium details even though you know that you are already logged in to your account, that it will probably be a fake link. Plus, all authencation by RS is done by https, so if there is no lock when you login to the a "rs login page", it will likely be a fake one too

Ohhh. Understand. The key point is always go to official site and dun cincai click on weird link.

Mostly I straight insert list into flashget. Always precaution when download something that have EXE file extension.

I wonder how u guys backup big file size like 8-9GB ISO/Bin into DVD?

Split it into multiple zip file then burn into 2-3 DVD 4.7GB
Or use DVD dual layer 8.5GB?

I think I might just split em up and then combine again when needed. Easier to backup too. Cheaper to backup with 85cent normal DVD rather than expensive RM12 DVD-DL.

In your guys opinion, which way of splitting is better? Example 8GB ISO.
2 big 4GB or Multiple 100MB?

HJSplit or WinRAR can do splitting job.

RM3.60 DVD-RL? What brand? what class media?

I mostly use 1st class DVDs like Mitsubishi, Verbatim or 2nd class Imation.

Oh, niclasteoh. Deal with him a few time. In fact the casing Cooler Master Centurion 5 Im using now are brought from him few years back. He he..

I think I rather go for WinRAR. I can just select all split and extract many files out but with HJSplit can only handle 1 file at a time.

The thing about using Internet at Uni is to avoid complaint. Once students starts to complain to the Uni management that the internet is slow, or even worse pin point to u, IT technician will have to do some work, including blocking RS or issue ban on RS.

I guess it's ok as long your download didn't cause other student's internet to slow down.

BTW, I really wonder what's the speed will be like if u download only 1 files using download manager? Will u get full speed of 4M or 10M on that download?

Login to your premium account page. Go to Settings and set Server-System #1, 2, and 3.

I send mine like this
Server-System #1 > GlobalCrossing #1
Server-System #1 > GlobalCrossing #2
Server-System #1 > Level(3)

Since u have problem with Telisonia and Level 3, try not to set them.

Holy Sh*t, I think my download also slow down. Usually I just set 1 download, 10 threads in Flashget (No Freegate) can already reach full speed 1M Streamyx. Now is very unstable. Can see the speed going up and down from 30-100.
