May I ask something? What player can be used to open the RS downloaded files? I use FLV Player but can't seem to play the downloaded files... Pls help

any player ....realplayer , WMP , its all depends on wat kind of media u downloaded ... rapidshare is juz a hosting website , letting u download wat ever ppl uploaded there ....

no particular player must be use to open so called rapidshare downloaded media ... =.=

RMVB can be open via realplayer or WMP 11 ....

u must install codec to play certain format movie

The problem with me is, I download very little.

I just download abit abit, over a long long time. Because I don't watch ehm, I'm not movie freak, only watch a few, and I only watch heroes as TV Show.

That's why I remain free user. =_="

But you can choose the hard way, not hard actually. Upload stuff and spread it to warez, movie, music and etc. Earn 10k download points and convert it to a month premium.

well i guess you better enjoy the free user privilege every second from now on b4 the new system kicks in. if the waiting time really is implemented, you better off with premium. i still buy premium until now even though i download less. the largest i download also is games.

i think it's *.rar, and tat u need to use winrar to extract the video file out first

what file format is your file in? Try download VLC player (its freeware) and you can play most video files (except rmvb)

if u use firefox, try install flashgot. i'm not sure it works.. but u might wanna try. alternatively try Internet Download Manager (IDM). u only need to highlight all the links and right click download via idm. but to queue the downloads in idm is a bit tricky because u must use scheduler.

Select all the links, Copy (CTRL+C), then in Free Download Manager, select file>>Import>>Import List of URLs from clipboard. Choose which folder u want to put it in then download.

or just use a download managers that have integration with browsers. most ppl in this thread prefer IDM

Just set it one time to your preference (eg: download 2 at a time) then everytime after that u can just click start queue and it'll automatically download based on your previous preference. You can even do several queues with different options if you so wish

just curious, did anybody here are using Download Manager from Rapidshare? ..i saw most of us prefer to use IDM instead of the FREE software provided by RS itself..

i doubt theres here using it

how to download rs files without being corrupted so i dun have to download again.

RS downloader 2 slow 4 me...50kb/s the maximum i can get on 1MBPS while IDM double the speed...WTF

sometimes i got corrupted files too... i think just download gain :/
