Just got myself the PS3 M'sian set from sony center at gurney.. too bad Soul Calibur 4 is the fixed games that came with the bundle. and i was given a choice of altered species, siren, ratchet and clank, ninja gaiden sigma and assasin creed.being not a big fan of horror games siren and altered species was out of the questions , siren was out of stock anyways. assassins creed i am playing half way thru on xbox, lazy wanna start all over again on ps3 and i chose ninja gaiden which i thought was the best.
havent had chance to create PSN ID as it is still doing the firmware update. i have it connected thru wireless and it has been 30 mins now and its only on 3%.. is that normal?
cant wait for it to complete so i can start gaming

U can download firmware using computer & update thru thumbdrive. Refer to the pinned PS3 FAQ.

Just brought RSV2 and MGS4 from at tatt. He gave me both for RM200 its used. Not bad his prices. Can bargain somemore. Anybody playing MGO or RSVegas2 SG server? Any PS ID?

Anybody got any successful trade with a user named 'whyte'? Can u guys tell me how you usually handle post deliveries? Cause he just joined like last week offering me quite nice prices for GT5 and uncharted. I didnt received any post deliveries before. Noob at it.

One question though, now all the games are inside my harddisk, can i back them up to some other device? I don't want to re-download all of them (even though my line is quite good and speedy) just in case of hard disk failure.

Hi chtan,

If any disk failure, u be able to redownload the game FOC from ur system. U can download the game into 5 times to 5 different PS3 system. If anything happens to the harddisk. The PSN will recognize ur systems ID and account under download history and let u redownload it.


To put it simple:
-PSN games can be downloaded into up to 5 different consoles.
-All 5 different consoles can download the game countless times but only to thier respected console using the download history.
-Correct me if im wrong ^^

Yes you have to redownload it. Just go to download history in the psn menu NOT THE DOWNLOAD LIST. IF GO TO THE DOWNLOAD LIST YOU WILL LOSE 1 OF YOUR 5 CHANCES TO DOWNLOAD IF YOU DOWNLOAD FROM THERE.

To pass me a copy, just pass me ur psn ID and password. I wont steal it trust me.
