Firstly I would like to apologies for my sub-par performance during the match. I just found out i can't run more than 10 meters ...... I think we got trash by 6-1... So I try to come more often in future in order to bond with the team and adapt to football pace and distaning again. Everything just seems to be so far. If sorry, shud be linesman say sorry...Maybe we need to work on the offside trap if we are planning to ever use it again.

That's 'cause everyone wants to play and have fun; their own way. No one wants to train.
Added on September 23, 2008, 1:33 pmI'm not saying anyone's wrong though; so don't mis-understand me.

Getting Started

is hard to arrange a friendly with this veteran team because they are going to start the league...anyway...im trying to bring out the idea of the team...where the team never care how many players coming for each game, but still they manage to settle every game every week...it really depends on how the captain/manager arrange the player to play in the match....Ive seen before there is 20++ players come for 1 game, but still they manage to settle it....even some of them play for only 10 - 15 minutes, but still they feel satisfy, because their mindset is," I WANT TO COME BACK NEXT WEEK AND PLAY FOR A LONGER PERIOD", by doing this, they need to perform well ,let say in the first week, and hope to have a first team start in the second week....
I know this idea might be rude to some player who came but just play for 10 minutes, but can u guys think in other ways, this way every player will try their best to fight for the first 11, so that the quality of the team will also slowly become better by having a small competition within ourselves (but please,if this idea apply,no heart feeling who play more or less)...... in other words, let says a player come for a week and just play for 10-15 minutes because of lack of skills, and feel not to come anymore in the second game, doesn't it means this player actually dun have the heart to prove himself in football?

I agree, this is one of the things we discussed the other day after the game. I think it's harder for us because we are struggling for players for a start, and if we start doing that, we might lose a few players. However, I think it is something we definitely have to look at because that way, we can improve. So fellas, if your performance is not up to mark in the coming games, don't blame us if we only put you in for 15 minutes. Me & Mike included, no more playing because you come every week. It's time to step up and improve.

i think we shud accept friendlies as they come
such as jason991's invitation
i believe by more friendlies we can learn a variety of plays from the teams then we can gain more experience on how versatile each time can get
besides that this kinda friendlies can boost attendance cuz ppl come then play then sure like ada feel untuk main edi especially bpl started...
just my 2 cents la

Well every team should have first choices.. So I suppose tat the way we should be heading. Can't expect to put in all 22 players and expect them to do perform the same level.

Believed that we should have LYN'ners to join a LYN Football Club a.k.a MyRawk committed list and sooner or later we can improve much, then we can consider of joining any social league.. Here's my suggestions for the committed list.. 1. First get a group of 18 players who is willing to commit themselves, then only we can introduce monthly COMMITMENT payment of RM20 (*Not too much as now with inflation rising up, a lot of our members may not afford to pay). What we want to do with the money, we all can decide later but must get someone who is can be trusted with the money. RM20 * 18 players = RM360 * 12months = RM4320 (is a lot of money and we can't let someone to squander it away) *happens to my previous team. 2. Appoint a team manager / coach. He will be the one who do all the team selections + tactics. Better if we appoint someone who doesn't play and unbias. Perhaps we can pay him some wage 3. Appoint a team captain. He will be the person who will be talking to the coach directly and give instructions on the pitch. 4. Compulsory training at least once a week. Any players who failed to attend the training on consistent basis will not be selected in the first team even though he is a star player. This is to be fair to other players who make the effort to attend training even though he is may not be skilled enough. Remember, we all pay the same amount of membership money so we all are equal and deserve a chance Hope that you guys can work out something. I am doing the same thing for my company's Futsal team and it works The only different thing is my company pays for everthing and the RM20 will be refunded if the player doesn't skip any training / practice session This post has been edited by Notoriez: Sep 28 2008, 01:38 PM
