QUOTE(termignoni @ Jun 27 2008, 09:48 AM) the new ZXR250 is a downgrade of the old ZXR250 (single disc from twin, USD forks to normal old type, triple-clamp to clip, etc).. it's basically a ZZR250 with upgraded looks.. it even uses the same engine, EX250H, and the sound is awful with the 2-1 exhaust setup.. really dude, there are no new zxr 250, the newly launched 250cc bike from kawasaki is ninja 250r and not zxr 250, many people keeps misunderstanding this, the ninja 250r is a replacement model for kawasaki zzr 250 not zxr 250 btw, TS if u have no experience in riding bikes before, i reallly recommend u to start from 250cc 4 stroke bikes such as the ninja 250r.. it's not safe for a newbie rider to ride a powerful inline 4 >600cc bikes because they're damn powerful This post has been edited by ben_panced: Jun 27 2008, 12:42 PM |

ER6N was nice. price really reasonable also ..i would say er6n would be a good beginner sbk.. btw er6n is a parallel twin not inline 4 ... so abit easier to control but has quite powerful torque .. i would prefer the bike uses v-twin engine .. haha
an used 95 cbr919 would be around 28-30k ..newer injection model kinda hard to get below 40k .. a rs125 stroke was fun to ride also .. and like termignoni said ... it all goes to u .. on ur riding style .. weekend use or dailly use .. thinking going to the track ? etc .... naked bike mostly good at short, city ride .. long range while maintaining high speed will be a pain .. since theres no wind protection ... sport bike does but the riding position is more radical and less comfort .. i do think u should start with AP250 or maybe AP150..
then u can move on to 600cc's then up 1000.. why AP150/AP250? its the most affordable low cc bikes on the road,dude.. hahahaa..by the way i do ride a 200cc currently, as my daily ride.. getting fit on it and would like to upgrade in the near future.. |

Heavy + fast like equipped with NOS.
The other day I saw this bike, it's not superbike but it is also not those average bikes you see on road. I think that bike cost about RM10K, not sure. With big wheels. I can't see the brand sticker, believe the owner has already removed it. The bike can say highly modded. Suspension, wheels and etc. It's like those bike you see on track, but not superbike. What the hell am I talking about? Anyone get me? |
