really dude, there are no new zxr 250, the newly launched 250cc bike from kawasaki is ninja 250r and not zxr 250, many people keeps misunderstanding this, the ninja 250r is a replacement model for kawasaki zzr 250 not zxr 250
btw, TS if u have no experience in riding bikes before, i reallly recommend u to start from 250cc 4 stroke bikes such as the ninja 250r..
it's not safe for a newbie rider to ride a powerful inline 4 >600cc bikes because they're damn powerful

that's because the kawa er6n is assembled in kawasaki malaysia shah alam plant
hehe, i heard rumours that they'll be assembling the zx6 pulak
if so then the price of CKD zx6 will surely be 40k++

market price is >8k i think
but if you buy from a bike shop, they'll sell the bike @ >11k

yup, i just went to the bike shop to check out the new 2008 ninja 250r..
compared to my old zzr 250 there are several obvious improvement such as:
1. wider front rims 2.75" compared to 2.15" tho the rear rims are of the same width 3.5"
2. lower redline 13k compared to 14k -> both bike engine are the same with the same behaviour of producing low torque and hp after 12k rpm
3. higher seat height -> this one will give u a sportier riding position
4. lighter frame
5. double seats to give the bike more sportbike looks
6. dual 60w front light compared to single 60w so that u can ride safely at night -> even 60w is bright
7. a new 2-1 exhaust system compared to 2-2 which should give a higher top speed
8. a bit lighter than zzr 250
9. a quite good stock tyre tho it's irc but the tyre compound is quite soft, infact softer than the bt-090 that i currently use
10. engine and chassis are made in japan so reliability and durability is not an issue here

that's all i can say about this bike, so for 1st timers who are eager to ride big bikes, the ninja 250r is a good bike to start

naza blade is unreliable, for the same amount of money, better buy kawa ninja 250r or er6n
