QUOTE(badman @ Aug 1 2008, 08:59 AM) biasa laa... it was never announced in any of the major/popular paintball forum except for their own site. teams are by invitation only... why buy a merc that can go 200 KMph when speed limit is 110kmph at highways ? one thing i couldn't get it is.. it's suppose to be a big event involving international/pro teams (not for demo game but to compete...!), with the big support from the ministry... plus it's the warm-up b4 they go with the big NPPL Asia next year, which is directly part of NPPL, why must keep it a hush-hush...? why make it feed faster when the std can already cater the allowable limit of 15bps ROF...? going down to 13 next year, right..? QUOTE(adam_lss @ Aug 1 2008, 10:09 AM) u ask i give lor. |

yup. pedalling is actually the one that actually push your dive distance to make u seem like you've dived 20 ft...
Diving requires A LOT of practice... I would recommend to dive without marker first to get use on the landing technique / impact. I've seen some bad landings... and suffered from some injuries myself by accidents.. |

well, depends. if it's declared as a sports equipment, you might be taxed.
importing marker wise.... better go buy TOTO or 4D, easier to win compared to trying to import or get an import licence for firearms. |

QUOTE(convicted_knight @ Sep 3 2008, 07:17 PM) So are you saying that if the shopper declared my item as gifts... then it should be no problems or tax charges..? not to say totally no problem, just lesser chances. As for markers.. i knew that.. QUOTE(badman @ Sep 4 2008, 04:03 AM) tau takpe... but maybe they are more lenient nowadays.. maybe we can talk abt markers (not saying i own one PM8, compared with PM7what's the diff between PM6, 7 & 8..? apart from the milling...? smaller LPR, eye pipe included, changes in bolt top can design, ultralight frame included, 14" barrel included, Eye ribbon Smaller, HyperReg3, PM7 compared with PM6, different LPR outer design, Different electronic-board design, different eye cover, Slimmer body. that's about all that i could think of now.. |

QUOTE(badman @ Sep 5 2008, 04:48 PM) eh..? thot pm8 uses wires instead of ribbon for its eyes.. or did i read it wrong..? nope it's still ribbon. weight is subjective, some 08 markers are way heavier than even a pm5... so, if we put ultralite frame on say a pm7, would it be on par with pm8..? ok, the eye pipe cannot kira la as only 08 version got them.... i mean the shooting lah, with all the advancement, is there any improvement on accuracy.. air efficiency of course la since it's a diff bolt... already out like few month already lah.. ain't got the dough, so just drool over it for now lah... yeah.. looks something like an ego, but then most marker would look the same if u shave off the unuse metal.. well, the indy is fitted with special hyperdrive board (u can't get it from hyperdrive but only at aliens) & green laser eyes.. u even get 2 trigger frames - 45 & 87 deg handles, it's ur choice.. PM7 vs PM8, i'd go for the PM8s, the new LPR with shim stacks gives a better consistency as over time, Spings will lose their tensions. Bolt wise, slight difference. not noticeble if one is not careful. as usual, accuracy rely more on the ball to barrel fit than the built of the marker itself. anyone drooling on the DM9 yet? |

if i'm not mistaken it's all up to what your LPR or Regulator can accept. if it's a HP reg, using a LP tank on it should be fine... but if it's a LP reg, then a HP reg might sent it to hell...
i might be wrong in this since most of the marker that i service runs on HP tanks without hiccups. |

Bold are corrected mistakes...i might be wrong in this since most of the marker that i service runs on HP tanks without hiccups. QUOTE(badman @ Sep 7 2008, 12:18 AM) which reg are u referring to..? tank reg or marker reg.? which marker an which reg are u refering to ? IMO, whichever it is, reg is to regulate the pressure, in other word it limits output to specific pressure, no matter what the input is.. unless the input is smaller than the intended output then that would be a prob lah... tank capacity = 3000/4500 -> tank reg output = 450/850 -> lpr = 75 ~ 250 err.. anybody know the output of marker inline reg ah...? *the more knowledgable please correct if i'm wrong here i might need to read more on this.... |

QUOTE(MK84 @ Sep 8 2008, 02:27 PM) LoL rempit marker. If I remember correctly no LPR. Just low pressure volume chamber like tippy LPK then straight to the valve. hmmm... ori myth .. or unbranded myth ?With the AKA 2liter LP reg on the marker, tested with CP (HP) and Myth tank reg. Quite consistent with the CP reg, but getting inconsistent velocity with the Myth reg. Shooting at 300psi. |

QUOTE(badman @ Sep 9 2008, 01:54 AM) well, there are 2 sets of pressure here, the low is the actual working pressure of the marker, meaning the one that get those important precision parts working for a more efficient result... this is set by the lpr. yellow is exhaust, cyan is the LP..while the other pressure, which is regulated by the marker's in-line reg, is the one that actually shoots the paint, chrono value is set via this reg.. http://www.paintballforum.com/dye-precisio...g-sequence.html -> graphical animation of a typical spool valves system.. the yellow/cyan is the low pressure that moves the bolt in order to initiates pellet movement just b4 the high pressure (dark bue) shoots them... coldteaocs, this is paintball forum, doesn't matter whether u are into speed or woods, it's all the same here... |
