QUOTE(Ge[N) ez,Aug 13 2008, 07:51 AM] not really... it's how u execute the technique.. keep body low, the smaller angle of dive/slide the better.. plus the speed of the launch... tried sliding in isi rimba... not a good idea. The carpet hinders ur distance. ended up not even reaching the bunker. ;P double knee drop is not recommended tho... apart from it might hurt ur knees, won't get that far even on grass, & on certain soft ground u might just stop there without going anywhere - knees got plunged into the ground due to angle of drop.. |

QUOTE(adam_lss @ Aug 13 2008, 08:17 PM) LOL no la... that 1st and very last time i slid into the snake, i was like superman, flew in the air and landed flat! at 1st no pain, but once reach home lebam man!!! considered urself lucky... i know someone did same thing, not only face hit the tank during the dive but later at night had to go to hospital due to constant vomitting - internal injury...!a dive is something need practice.. & a proper one i'd say... break the fall with ur free hand while supporting the marker on the other. make sure the impact is not on the marker or u might break the marker or worst, the ASA - very very the dangerous thing if happen... keep body low to lessen the impact & so u can slide into position... some would also 'pedal' themselves in gaining more distance to the dive... |

QUOTE(exkay @ Aug 14 2008, 12:17 PM) yup. pedalling is actually the one that actually push your dive distance to make u seem like you've dived 20 ft... there... backed by more senior player, in case someone doesn't believe me lah... Diving requires A LOT of practice... I would recommend to dive without marker first to get use on the landing technique / impact. I've seen some bad landings... and suffered from some injuries myself by accidents.. |

QUOTE(subsonique @ Sep 3 2008, 10:09 AM) errr what do you mean no luck in getting 1? Napshot brings in but currenlty no stock la haha. it's not that easy importing markers in. trust me, if not many would've done it. those who've done it, knew the risks, chances are you may not even get it into your hands. however if you want to a pistol, then do consider my Tiberius T9, i think this is way better than the G2 plus it looks better hehe. the T9 utilizes the magazine load, or you can even use hopper for it. check it out www.tiberiusarms.com waaa. luckily the mod only know dye, proto, ego, mcdev etc... else u'd get a week oh...! (if somebody report lah) |

QUOTE(exkay @ Sep 5 2008, 04:03 PM) not to say totally no problem, just lesser chances. eh..? thot pm8 uses wires instead of ribbon for its eyes.. or did i read it wrong..? PM8, compared with PM7 smaller LPR, eye pipe included, changes in bolt top can design, ultralight frame included, 14" barrel included, Eye ribbon Smaller, HyperReg3, PM7 compared with PM6, different LPR outer design, Different electronic-board design, different eye cover, Slimmer body. that's about all that i could think of now.. weight is subjective, some 08 markers are way heavier than even a pm5... so, if we put ultralite frame on say a pm7, would it be on par with pm8..? ok, the eye pipe cannot kira la as only 08 version got them.... i mean the shooting lah, with all the advancement, is there any improvement on accuracy.. air efficiency of course la since it's a diff bolt... QUOTE(zzub @ Sep 5 2008, 04:08 PM) anyway..the new alien is out bad yeah.. looks something like an ego, but then most marker would look the same if u shave off the unuse metal.. well, the indy is fitted with special hyperdrive board (u can't get it from hyperdrive but only at aliens) & green laser eyes.. u even get 2 trigger frames - 45 & 87 deg handles, it's ur choice.. |

QUOTE(zzub @ Sep 5 2008, 05:35 PM) yeah... i only read about the release about a month back order the premium package & u'd get both handles plus 2 additional 7" back & few fronts.. one of them is a cf barrel... just like buying 2 markers... already check about it.. tak perasan grip dia diff... QUOTE(exkay @ Sep 5 2008, 06:28 PM) nope it's still ribbon. well, i only read & heard abt the wires, don't know for sure since haven't got any chance to really explore it... no one dare to give me for that yet... PM7 vs PM8, i'd go for the PM8s, the new LPR with shim stacks gives a better consistency as over time, Spings will lose their tensions. Bolt wise, slight difference. not noticeble if one is not careful. as usual, accuracy rely more on the ball to barrel fit than the built of the marker itself. anyone drooling on the DM9 yet? yeah... efficiency & consistancy should be the later model advantage.. accuracy is kinda subjective... dm9, yet to read abt them... donno lah, my interest is more to proto than dye... not that dye it has any flaws over proto, except when there's only 1kpsi or less air left... but still dm is a good marker... tak rugi ambik, just personal preference i guess.. QUOTE(adam_lss @ Sep 5 2008, 11:46 PM) QUOTE(hafiez @ Sep 6 2008, 12:22 AM) dont care lah.. u still need foot to kick.. else it might just be a whack or a slap... |
