yaloh matt..me too..
my car so slow..using atomic..
i dont know why david and eelen atomic car can be so fast...
using apai formula..power to weigt ratio..
reduce more friction..now i'm setting up a new car  tongue.gif
Hi bro...
Bout the power to weight ratio, U have to remember dats not only the factor u have to consider...
When volume of power exceed the volume of weight dat every single power unit/factor (assume) is carrying, it will caused the car to loose traction (too light)...
Added some weight is good but the arrangement where does the weight sit is important which it will cause a down force and result in more traction...
More traction means u got almost every power of wheel rotation & reduce slips...
But too much weight it will cause drag... shakehead.gif
So do remind dat...
To other sifu, sorry... notworthy.gif
Dats juz my opinion & wut i learn in my university, dunno whether it is right or wrong... sweat.gif
Sila beri tunjuk ajar... notworthy.gif

Mass damper is a great technique to get an extra weight / momentum / push force at certain environment / situation without any additional weight...
At initial condition mass damper may provide a 4g ~ 7g of weight...
But once the parts start to slide up & down, the push force / momentum produced gonna be 3 ~ 5 times larger than original weight...
At this condition, the hang time of the car will be short... = Kereta land lebey cepat lor, tak lompat tinggi sangat... wink.gif
But all of this condition need to consider other factors such as friction slide, inertia / hold back force, speed travel and mass...
The placement of this system also important as each position can provide different result...
The value can be calculated and effect can be proved, but get ready at least 6 ~ 10 A4 paper... rclxub.gif
Numbers makes me puke man...
Everyday at work looking at this calculations, so not gonna apply when playing mini 4wd... thumbup.gif
Any volunteer?...
