ive always been a FIFA guy until i tried PES 08. I just hope the online play will improve in the 09 edition...
Online gaming for 08 was/still is terrible...

im the opposite bro, always been a winning eleven fan, until i tried fifa 08 which is not bad imo, since pes2008 sux big time lol

the problem with fifa is theres not much editing u can do compare to winnng eleven series

PES is like the 'bad boy' kinda football game compared to the goody-goody FIFA with their licenses and stuff
FIFA's season mode kinda boring if you ask me...

With PES,other teams will offer you player trades,they will offer to buy your players,you can offer to trade,offer to loan,search players through super in-detailed methods...Definitely better than FIFA's season mode IMHO...

Pro Evolution Soccer? Soccer? You call it "Soccer". The acctual name is "FOOTBALL". Football means FIFA. Not PES 200X, The entire product is total failure. But i wish they can compete with FIFA 09.

PES 2009 will be released on 15 October for EU version.

Afterall, PES 6 is still the best PES. Im playing it till today.

Saw the trailer and game vids a while ago, not that impressive, although the graphics and frame rate improve, the gameplay i think is still going to be

the same, using the same game engine, which is tiresome. too arcadey. very ironic, as PES was supposed to be the "simulation" whereelse FIFA is the

"arcadey" game. Time have changed indeed. But still hopeful for this version. Master League is still the best offline mode ever.

I don't know why people keep bothering of FIFA get license and PES not. There always have patches right? This is my PES2008 screen.

ya i agree the 360 version is sux

i play pes08 on psp and using a patches on license and it really makes difference,its more enjoying to see all real clothes..and fabregas playing like real

i dunno whether ps2 can play the patches,
