Hmm. wanted to play with u guys but need more self training first. My defence sux. I rarely can steal the opponents ball. Everytime u try to come from the back, it never success in stealing. Tried to mark but when the opponent through pass, i can never chase because my player will move in a awkward way such as pause for a sec, run to another place etc. =.=. I wonder wats wrong with my playing. Argh. Im very scare of opponent cross because my player will just look at it without trying to head it away. Even sometimes when the ball go through them, they didnt catch it and let it slip to opponent. T.T

defence is the most important thing when playing..any attack begins at the back when u successfully defending...i suggest u practice with weaker team 1st..

when an opponent crossed the ball from wide area, dont juz push the pass/clear button..instead, move your player towards the ball & heads it away (juz like reality players do)..whoever attack the ball 1st will win the header..watch epl striker attack the ball, they timed their run and heads the ball 1st before the defender..learn frm there..

Yea. I know the concept of defending. But cant execute it. Im playing in Master League division B. I need to rely on my Atk and it has to be successful because its hard for me to steal and gain back possession. When i wanna block a cross, i anticipated the cross but my defenders are too far away. I used L1 to switch to that CB and he pause for a while before i can gain full control but its too late.

Anyhow i cant mark players like how the computers do. They follow u closely. I need to use R1 or X to mark them but its not reliable because im not able to steal from the back but opponent seems to do so easily. I wonder is there something wrong with my game play or i totally misunderstood the technique in defending.

If you see that your CB too far away when computer crosses, thats because.. generally both ur CB will run to the wing to stop the cross, press L1 to control the CB and then hold SQUARE to send some 1 else to block the person trying to cross

Ya for me personally i think mastering your defence is very important when you play online.

I like to play with those attack-minded opponent, coz when you pull too many players out to attack, the time i get the ball back from my area, i can do a quick counter-attack that normally need 2 or 3 pass then my striker will be one-on-one facing the goalkeeper and score

However, still need more practice to improve my defence, and to minimize those minor error made by my defender to allow opponnet to score easy goal..

my philosphy is if i can defend well that match, then higher chance that i wont lose badly/ can win the match (of course also must take into consideration of my defender form for that match, if no form no matter how good i defend also will concede those easy goal )

no wonder sean is a good player.. still waiting n want a rematch with u, but i cant log in at all, maybe PSN having someproblems

Nah i'm just average player, nothing to brag about it i also lose badly sometime, haha. Just to share experience where i really learn a lot from some top players who are not only know how to run fast and attack, but also defend very good

Really learn lot from them, and some of them from this forum too

Come on quickly fix your online thingy and we can play few more match
