Dude...where to get sw250 less than 2k? Really tempting

I'll get Velo 10R if I can't get Wharfy 250 at a reasonable price.

Oh, I forgot abt the bad news. Almost all spkr brands, projectors, AVR, sub, and so forth will see (or already increased) an increase in price. From 10% to more than 20%.

SW250 used to be near RM2K. Now, maybe they increase the price.

I was shock that the CHT-12R price went up by RM200+

what causes the price hike?
does it reflect all shops?

Yeah I know about the price hike. The current price for 10R is RM2.1k so I was hoping I could get 250 around that price. If I can't then I'll go for 10R

Yes no doubt about the performance but look is kind of important to me. Wharfy 250 beat Velo 10R hands down in look department. No offense to Velo owners. Just stating my preferences.

I think cheap sub shall be below 2K

Those sub below 1K is so so ...not accepatable sound quality
Those within 1 - 2K...cheap and acceptable for entry level to mid range sub

Jamo Sub 300....Last two week=> RM$1500
Jamo Sub 250....Last two week=>RM$1199
Yamaha SW515...once I ask at HN(last two Month ago)=>RM$1299
Polkaudio PSW125...once I ask at Desa(Last two Month ago)=> RM1500

Velodyne CHT10-R ~ RM2.1k (according to Htkaki)
Velodyne CHT12-R ~ RM2.7k

Any other price update....? before go to AV fair....really wish AV fair will have better price....

Erm, no hard feelings for those who owned Yammy sub. It lacks the low end grunt and precision. My uncle got one. He has to buy another sub in the end.

I guess CHT-10R no longer at that price. However, try to nego a bit with Rick of A&L if you are buying it. PM me before you go.

None taken coz for some beginners that is more than good enuf. As we progress, of course we will need something better. Some say its better to get good things in the first place but how can we be sure the good thing is good if we never experience something less?

No need to audition lah. Thanks to you guys your poison is more than enuf already. Velodyne CHT-10R will be delivered to me this afternoon. Manage to get a bargain at less than RM2k. Now go AV Fair to find cheap CD or DVD only.
