Hi,

New C702 owner report here

Bought the cool cyan color for RM1150 last Saturday.

Still not really familiar with the functions on this phone, i was using Z200 before, this is the first time i use such "canggih" phone

Does anyone know where to get the info on how to copy songs into the phone, how to use the GPS function,...etc. There is not much info i can get from the user guide.

So far I'm quite satisfied with this phone but there are some little thing I don't like about this phone.

1. The phone display went 'dead' on idle mode, it doesn't show the time or new messages, missed call. So we have press the phone to check for time or any missed call if we walk away.
2. The phone does not have the feature to auto lock the keypad


Is there any way to fix these little problem?

Got an AP set last week at RM1150.00 ... too expensive?

GPS is an Assisted GPS so have to use $ on 3G payment to Maxis each time we open Google Maps... still trying to find a good Java Apps for the AGPS... so far tested http://www.gpswatcher.com/ and have asked their support to confirm is C702 is fully supported. Not working on the trial version.

Added on October 7, 2008, 3:09 amYes there is an autolock feature - look carefully at the Settings menu... you cant set the time the phone autolocks though, the time is fixed, I think to 10 secs or something like that.

i trade my K770i + RM470 for speedy black C702 ap set at Pandan Indah...
before raya price RM1399 at Pandan Indah... now RM1166 for ori C702 at The Curve...

mine is ap set . my fren bought it for me , he direct get it from dealer . thts y it is much cheaper than market price =) . overall it is ok but the keypad is abit small n difficult to press ..

I think so far still don't hear anybody bought this color yet. I mean the energy black color with yellow and black stripe. I never see in the market too.

Yeah I agree with you the keypad is hard to press sometimes.

c702 can support up to how many gb memory card ?

i got some problem with myphone...
automatic restart when
1. charging and using phone as a modem at same time (connect to computer using BT)
2. charging + using google GPS at same time (automatic restart after using GPS around 10mnt)
3. using software Navigami(thirt-party software for GPS)
anybody got problem like me??

AP set can using SE online update or not??

does this phone came bundled with M2 card ?

what is the capacity of the m2 memory stick ship with the phone?

i bought my originial C702 a few months ago,...got auto-shut down problem...
sent to ArmCorp mall SC to update the software...but still facing same problem...
then someone suggested that the problem may be due to my Celcom 3G sim card
problems.... so i switched...and used my Digi sim card on it...so far no auto-shut down...

but don't know it is the phone problem or the sim card !!! otherwise is a good phone!
