something that has been missing in MGS since MGS 3:
active codec sequences.
probably not gonna happen anytime soon,but im still wishing for codec sequences that can get you caught in the act.
we've all seen snake kneel down while receiving a call on codec,and during that period,the whole world seemingly stops.
unless it's a cutscene,the world around snake and his audience stops.
the next MGS should have the enemies and everyone else on patrol as usual.
snake would have to search for cover to safely pick up the call.
and while talking with his opposite number,danger can still come and look for him
hell,everyone says MGS is so and so "passive",this could be another way for KojiPro to take this game and westernise it.MGS4 was the start,this would take that idea even further.
plus it makes more sense,and makes the game much more "next gen"
it wont have to have conversations that change according to what you're doing,but you'd have to keep an eye out for sentries while receiving calls on codec.
