ya, that too. this is why I seriously think, any MGS movie, its gotta be done in CGI. doesnt even matter how close the actor resembles snake, without his trademark voice..

Hayter is also a script maker, making him think a lot. So rather than voicing Solid Snake, he is also / should be contributing ideas to Kojima. At least he stays with Kojima, unlike dont get me wrong, I dont mind he left, but he should be responsibleto the claimed 'westernization' stuffs that he brought in MGS universe.

I love MGS. It was the reason I bought a Playstation in the first place (still remember playing the demo in the cd sampler for Playstation 10 years ago)

But in my opinion, the mechanics for MGS4 is too weak. I have to say, MGS lost its flavor in MGSPO, then it continued here.

MGS3 was still MGS..i dont know how to describe the 'flavor' to you guys, but I am so used playing in a tight spot where weapons and supplies are scarce.

MGS2 I can say, for me personally was the best MGS. It had the flavor, the gunfights, the WTF story line and interesting characters. The only gripe I had with the game was not knowing which Snake was Raiden. The sniping missions, the C4 hunting, escort mission, it was complete.It was a true successor of MGS1.

And, I am not a fan of over the shoulder's view for Snake's firing action. I prefer to switch into FPS mode, like in MGS2 and 3. Why you ask?I dont know. I think its one of those qualities that it brings MGS its flavor.
I am not against innovations or new stuffs, but I thnik we should be given an option in this issue.

My own opinion lah.

the boss fights are totally epic (especially the sniper)

anyways i support mgs movie to be made in cgi...
somehow i dun have the feeling that mgs in real life action will fit well...

i actually love the pyromaniac The Fury. Come on, Jet pack on the 60's?...who didnt LOVE that?

the bosses in MGS3 at least make some awesome introduction...hearing the Fear said "FEAR!!!" send a chill to the spine.

They may have a little background story, but because their close connection with The Boss, you did feel bad after killing them eventho it's the Survival of the Fittest contest.

the bosses in MGS used to be, relevant in the story. they have their own personal agenda and connection to one another somehow. But not in MGS4. You beat the living daylights out of them then Drebin will call you and starts yapping

See, they had personality, motivation and reason for being in the story.

My opinion on MGS series

MGS 1 and 2: Teach you how to become a special operative squad agent.Boss battle quite hard.

MGS 3 : Teach you how to become commando.No..not that movie Komando starring arnold).I mean a REAL commando.Boss battle is awesome and unique

MGS 4 : Same with MGS 1 and 2, but differences is this time in the middle of the battlefield.Boss battle are very lame.

You actually can feel the emotion of the Beauties during the 'White Room' Sequence...but who is stupid enough to stay in that room longer than 2 minutes? All i can remember is I load my Shotgun and start shooting like maniac

I was stun knifing the b****** when they were out the suit. It took alot more skill IMO.

imagine if MGS4 got trophies and one of it is "Up Close & Personal with the Beauties" which require you to stun knife them all
