well since we hv hunter n enhance shammy dps thread
i will just start with a rogue thread

i just want to know how to improve my dps as a rogue
i usually do ~2k dps on brut which i feel a bit low
i do the best rotation suggested that is 4s/5r
consume haste pot together with blade flurry n bloodlust n use them again on each cd
i usually will be getting 1-2 bl each fight

my grp setup for brut will usually be 2 rogues...1 arms warr..1 ret n 1 enh shammy
i only lose the xtra dps from a surv hunter which we dont hv yet

so what did i do wrong or how can i improve my dps?

im currently full mh/bt gear except from warglaives n some 2-3 items i still need from bt

I agree all that you need right now are the glaives, it seems decent enough.

Perhaps you can use recount and compare it with the next rogue that have similar setup as yours?

some slight changes you can make to your own personal setup.
- get the badge legs (slightly better than t6 legs) since you are wearing 5 piece t6. upgrade your neck and cloak to choker from supremus / SSO exalted (if you are aldor) and cloak of fiends (ZA timed) or Shadowmoon Destroyer.

- consider using 3s/5r if you are able to keep it up.

Check out the 2 dps spreadsheets off EJ to maximise your personal gear setup

most of the increase comes from raid composition unfortunately.
get your group to spec Leatherworking and a survival hunter if possible.
survival hunter ups your dps (and raid's) by quite a bit

edit: im assuming you are chugging haste pots whenever the cd is up instead of just during bl

well, glaives on brutallus are really extra dps, as a 2pc set gives bonus of more AP against demon type mobs. plus the legendary 450 haste proc. but, getting 2k without a surv hunter is really good. imo you're doing fine. maybe ask your shaman if hes totem twisting (if hes not slap him and force him to do so). and more drums maybe?

A boomkin can also help increase rogue dps with imp faerie fire, so that you can raid with lower hit rating rating. But that's to do with raid setup which you may or may not be able to influence.

the enhancement shammy do totem twisting too
the other rogue in my guild hv the lolglaive MH
but my dps is not that far behind from him

i still do need 2-3 loot from bt
that is the neck n cloak
it's either i lose dkp or it doesnt drop

i've tried using 3s/5r...but i cant keep it up lol
we r looking for a surv hunter
but it's not easy to find a good hunter in jubeithos lol

isnt he's like the best rogue in malaysia and sg? some say batam too
