Follow the signage upon entering the hotel. There is a staircase nearby the main reception / lobby area. Walk down the staircase and you shall see the ticket area there.

Believe there are some special package out there, as what I knew from the Sony KLCC is that, buying 32" S series, just top up another RM20, you will get a Sony DVD Player!!! But not sure how true it is, gotta check it out

Was there yesterday. Nothing much. It is in the new wing but not at the central. It is near the side. Since it is a Sony fair, only get to see Sony.

If thats the case, hmm... is better to wait for the AV Show then.

AV show is similar to pc show ... can accomodate many many people, tickets are never sold out. Traffic is directed in certain way.

Only trick, is to go in less crowded time

perhaps you could try out Jalan Sultan Ismail, Concorde hotel. It is away from bukit bintang (cheaper i presume), but has a monorail station (bukit nanas). Hop onto it, and head for Bukit Bintang station. Ask around, and ppl should be able to direct you to JW Marriot.

You can also try Maya hotel. Not sure of the rates, maybe you can try checking.

I am new to this forum. I would like to buy a pair of bookshelf speaker. Do we really get better price at the AV Show? If yes, i would like to wait and see what they could offer.

i & couple of my friends are going to the fair on saturday morning. One of my friend is going to get & B&W bookshelves speaker? Is the price will range not over RM 2000.

Depending on which series and model. But for below RM2K, there is limited choice. I guess it is either DM600 S3 or DM601 S3. Moreover, nowadays are made from China.

So mostly B&W speaker now are made from china, does the build material quality & the sound quality were still good.

Not only B&W bro. Many speakers are now "Designed & Engineered in UK, Assembled in China".

Even my iPhone and PS3 are the same. They were made there only for labor advantage. All standards and QC are still based at home.

Practically, the quality should be the same. But if you ask me, if I can find made in UK speakers, why not I prefer that?
