QUOTE(aiman04 @ Jul 14 2008, 09:50 AM) Not only B&W bro. Many speakers are now "Designed & Engineered in UK, Assembled in China". Even my iPhone and PS3 are the same. They were made there only for labor advantage. All standards and QC are still based at home. Practically, the quality should be the same. But if you ask me, if I can find made in UK speakers, why not I prefer that? Seems like need to audit first before made decision during the fair. I live at JB hardly any shop here sell branded speaker that can be audit at the shop, they only help preorder the speaker. Last time my friend when to a electric shop got sell monitor audio Bronze BR2 for RM 2k+ & he ask the salesman is the price mistake as singapore can get around S$400+. After a few months the electric shop is closed. This post has been edited by DEz012: Jul 14 2008, 10:08 AM

QUOTE(car_o_scope @ Jun 20 2008, 10:19 PM) I am afraid that there will be very few Stereo systems on show. I think it will be a showcase for BlueRay and Projectors. I also hope that I can get some nice CDs there.. hi, are you going? blu ray will be the main highlight this year. Sharp will have a special promotion on blu ray player + blu ray disc, hehe now is the time to grab blu ray player...

QUOTE(Coconut @ Jul 17 2008, 05:50 PM) do you guys think that the participants will demo alot of full hd tv? or they are more towards on displaying hi-fi set and speakers? For the past few years, HT system overwhelmed Hi-Fi. I think it is no exception for this year since the HD craze is sweeping like a wildfire

No. HT = HD Projector + speakers + av receivers + DVDP / BDP + sub. Only a few will display LCD TV and plasma tv.
