QUOTE(colabear98 @ Sep 9 2008, 03:06 AM) Tried Q9550(E0) and clocked it to 4ghz and benched with 3dmarks06 (Currently on P5Q Deluxe while my Rampage is resting) i know for 4870x2 crossfire, it called Quad Crossfire, but... 4-way crossfire with 4870x2 is not equal Quad Crossfire, bcoz it have 8 GPU enabled, unless u use 4870 instead for 4-way crossfireAdded on September 9, 2008, 3:12 am Having 2 X2's crossfire is called Quad Fire. An X2 alone has internal crossfire if not mistaken. According to ASUS .. Rampage has 2 PCIE slot and supports Quad Fire.. How can we have 4 4870s crossfire on 2 PCIEs ? Well .. it was meant 2 X2's Crossfired if im not mistaken. Of course we need 4 PCIEs for 4 way crossfire, from what i read at tomhardware, there is a mobo that can support up to 4 PCIEs, refer to my previous post #575 for link btw.. nice score... got 3dmark vantage score? |

Crossfire X i think, coz hybrid is mean for 780g mainboard, if refer to amd, previous 3870x2 also can crossfire x with single 3870, may be for 4870x2 currently not officially support by amd driver yet
