nv tried that yet..so is it router problem or wat @_@? Using WRT54GL =/...RC 7 of DD-WRT v24 used to work and now it's not working -.-"

guys..i've flash the wrt54gl to dd-wrt firmware and it works great.
the only problem i have now is the modem,it takes more than 5 minutes for the ADSL light to be stable after i switch on the modem. (i test with other modem only takes 15-20 sec).
any suggestion on which modem i should pair with wrt54gl?

IMO, there no way to block P2P. The closest way to do it, to authenticate your user via freeradius and enforce bandwidth limiting.

Ah chong was given only 56.6k to access the internet thru LAN or WIFI, and he must authenticate first via radius server. AH Chong started his bittorent and after few hours his torrent still not finish downloading. He wonder why ? The wifi operator already enforce bandwidth limited to Ah Chong and he can play WoW with free mind.

Guys, dd-wrt v24 sp1 is out!

Good news will flash my WRT54GS, WRT54GL and my Kerbau to v24sp1 tonight

My friend's v24 SP1 seems to hang every now and then after updating to the v24 sp1 from v23.

Hang as in interface would fail to load. tried hard reset already still the same.

Using WRT54G v5 BTW.... Anyone got any ideas?

Guys, i have flashed my WRT54GL to dd-wrt24 sp1 but i think my router have problem with it. If i restarted the router, than it doesnt work anymore. Cant even enter 192.168.1.1. Only after i do hard reset it will work again but i cant do setting since it will hang after reboot. What is actually happen?

Been using dd-wrt for quite some time on my wrt54g v5.

Have a few question need to be clarify, the current firmware i'm using is v23 SP3, if I want to upgrade the firmware to v24 SP1, is there any special steps should I take or just update the firmware like that.

Another thing is about the wireless xmit power, how much should I set it to optimize the connection for 1 house (using the default value now and having some bad connections sometimes)

flash my wrt54gl v1.1 from v24 voip to v24 sp1 voip ,been using it since last month, work flawlessly, memory seems to jump from 2 to 3 something . wds very easy to configure. be sure to flash with mini version first if your are not sure. also make sure your cable is working perfectly when you flash. Just one thing that dont quiet understand ,the Ack Timing , default 2000 meter sensitivity , if i change it to 3000 meter does it do any good? anyone can clear this for me ,thanks in advanced.

hey guys, i have dd-wrt, can i insert/host 1-3 simple webpages inside the router, say save in the nvram inside. since there are still some rooms after the firmware. i need the pages just for for simple links, maybe with some css, or 1-2 pic. simple and shouldnt take more than 100kb. i believe is doable, but what should i do to get it done? so i just put the files into the router? or i need to install some ipkg pcakages? or i need to do a sd mod?

No need SD-mod. You can get a miniHTTPd and run off it. There is how to run your own web-server on your DD-WRT. Check out their wiki. I've tested before and its possible

As for images , you can use imageshack , reduces your bandwidth !

hi have a wap54g original firmware which i want to upgrade. The question is, is the process reversible?

and what type should i use? i checked in the website, there are like 4 or 5 types of mini and micro edition just for my wap54g.

I'm currently on DD-WRT V24.

If I want to upgrade to V24 SP1, can I just upgrade from DD-WRT's "Firmware Upgrade" page or do I need to start from scratch like the first time I installed DD-WRT?
