im using this... DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/01/09) mini (SVN revision 11296M NEWD Eko)

coz i tried several version, and many of it had various problems... but i guess i should try out latest one. Its been a long time since i upgrade. what version u using?

I also play this router Linksys GL but using the dd-wrt v24 sp1 special edition i turn on the upnp and manage to get NAT 2

how to setting the router & modem configuration so that I can access both of it via router web gui?

example: 10.0.0.1 for my modem & 192.168.1.1 for my router (dd-wrt f/w)

*I've done change the static router ip for both modem & router but still cant managed how to get in the modem&router web gui configuration page..

Just want to share that i manage to get NAT 2 with my PS3

I turn on UPNP and i also DMZ my PS3 ip and manage to get NAT 2

So you can host game like in Modern Warfare 2 :-)

I managed to flash my WRT to dd-wrt v24 eko's built.
I'm very happy and glad that it's working pretty well and smooth although it's still in beta mode.
It's been up for 2 days +. No hicups yet.

Any wrt54g v5 users here? or probably applicable to all ddwrt users

Whenever my housemate runs the flying spaghetti monster clients, it spawns crap load of connections and rest of us will suffer slow web surfing/disconnection from other online games

Is there anyway to reduce these problems?

No wonder I kept getting dc at 12am.. i had force reconnect enabled. Duh..

is using force reconnect causing PPPOE connection to DC?
I am having random and frequent disconnection (every 5 mins/15mins/1 hr...random)
using a TP-LINK TD-8817 modem through 2 WRT54GL (DD-WRT build 13064 std) on WAP mode.
anyone know what is causing these frequent disconnections? it's kinda irritating, keep booted off online games

If Force reconnect is enabled, it will show a timer under it(time).
If you set the time to let say 03 - 30, every 3.30 in the morning, it will disconnect the internet and reconnect. So disable that.

As for your problem with frequent disconnections, I'm not so sure.

I've mistakenly hit the enter before entering the linux.bin when loading the new firmware to my router.

Now i'm unsure what to do, i've reset the router..

Someone already answered you there it seems that u already bricked your router.

Sure, set your ip to 192.168.1.2.
Set your gateway ip to 192.168.1.1
Now, do this trick here.

Although I use x-wrt on DIR-300, it is NOT RECOMMENDED (laggy, unstable. I don't want to teach you how to revert later). I will not be teaching. Returning to my sweet love, DD-WRT.

I bricked my router once while I was trying to install x-wrt, luckily I managed to recover it.

anyone can help me?
currently im using dlink dir600 and flashed with a ddwrt v24 sp2
i tried to cap the bandwitdth using the script generator and manage to cap the download speed. however, the upload speed still left uncapped and make my ping being shityy.

tried changing modprobe to insmod. saved as firewall and startup. still cant. sigh.

I don't think the QOS for the free version works properly unless u go for Special paid version it should worked .
