I think most of the dir-600 sold in malaysia are HW-VerB , if the dir-600 is HW-verB then it support dd-wrt , u can check the box of dir-600 , got written there

You may also try to search through it's router database:

http://dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database

Just enter DIR, choose the correct model & revision.

For DIR-600, B1 & B2 are supported.

Also noticed that DIR-615 & DIR-825 are support now.

From the picture above, the wireless "rate" show 54mbps and it seem to be ok..
But in my case, the rate always drop to 1,2, 5.5mbps. Till now, it never reach 54 anymore.
I'm already set the transfer rate to 54mbps but the line still slow.

It seems u don't understand how wireless work if u far away of course the wireless signal will drop

If u want to get 54Mbps all the time sit next to ur AP smile.gif or force to use G mode and set the transmission mode to 54 Mbps but if u do this the router might not work with ur PC

Please note:Typical Wireless Range will be dependent on the following:

1. Transmit Power of your Access Point or Wi Fi Router
2. Outdoor Obstructions (trees, lakes, buildings, RV's, hills, etc.)
3. Type of building material (metal, aluminum, wood, sheetrock)
4. Mounting position of antenna
5. dbi Gain of the outdoor antenna
6. Length of coax cable connected to the Wi Fi antenna
7. Client device receive sensitivity, and transmit power

hi, using Linksys WRT54GS, flashed to DD-WRT around 2 months back...i notice everything i click on the "disconnect" button at the WAN status page, my wireless connection will be disconnected, and wait around 20 seconds like that then it will reconnect back....it seems like a router restart to me..

is this happening to anyone as well? or is this the default behavior of the firmware?
