I'm not a lawyer, but afaik, the legality of any e-transaction depends on the country of location of the server. So if the casino server is located in a country where e-gambling is legal, then it's legal. And vice versa.

Very nicely done, CharlestChan.

But which part of the Martingale did you improve?

Thanks.

QUOTE(charlestchan @ Nov 15 2009, 03:03 PM)
I've tried an improved martingale system before at dublinbet.com , i bet every round, and i can consider myself having a streak of 160 times in Baccarat. They gave me 1000 free points, and i kept winning 10points, raising it to 2.8k points, it's really a good formula.  However, it was beaten after sometime, and to unbeaten it, i need to use the previous martingale system.

If a system is working well for you, who cares what some mat salleh says! Remember that the current recession is started by some so-called "smart" mat salleh who is "too good" in maths, come up with nonsense non-productive financial derivatives, and screw the world up. Somemore want to ask for big bonuses after that, even though their bank is surviving on govt TARP handouts.

Mat Salleh not that clever lah, the richest man in the world now is Indian. Mat Salleh only clever to take advantage of other people.

So, carry on with System16 if it's making money for you !!

firstly, congrats manu4life and meltigloo, u r the smaller % that win in genting! I play some BJ, it's true, when u got a stiff against a 10, u usually bust if u hit! But u must hit cos there r 8 out of 13 cards which will improve the dealer's hand. This is for 12 to 15. If u got 16, there are 8 cards which will kill u so u may not want to draw. U always stand on hard 17, by the way.

How about betting progression for BJ? I have no idea about that, I only bet one amount all the way, which I feel is incorrect.

Is this the BJ strategy table?

Do you have one for pontoon, the type played in Genting? Pontoon is played without the four 10s, so the chance of getting pontoon/blackjack(ace + court card) is much lower. ie pontoon is played with 48 card decks instead of 52.

Added on November 26, 2009, 10:56 amYou have to patiently look for it, only got 2 - 3 tables biggrin.gif and they only open late afternoon, if you go too early, they not open yet. Genting want you to play pontoon cos the house edge is higher, no 10s in the deck mah ... brows.gif

You can count cards in Las Vegas but not in Genting, 'cos Genting uses continuous shuffling machine. After each game, all cards are put back in the machine which shuffles them, so every game is using newly shuffled cards. rclxub.gif

Card counting is only effective if there is deep penetration, and in Genting's casinos, there is no such penetration. And if one is really card counting, one never plays big money in the early stages, since card counting is only effective in the later stages, when deep penetration is reached (which does not happen in Genting). When Dr Edward O Thorp was playing and writing about his experiences with card counting, the US casinos were using single decks and dealing till there is deep penetration, but Genting is using 6 decks, and no such penetration is reached. whistling.gif

QUOTE(vinesh22 @ Dec 2 2009, 03:47 PM)
best is card counting with blackjack...out of 6 trips to genting, only rugi once, that also because salah kira..but if really wanna do card counting, i have to be sure that u wanna play big money in the early stages, and u HAVE to loose a few, if not they get suspicious..

In fact, you can easily get a taxi from Sentral all the way to the top for RM100, and if you are lucky, there may be other passengers to share with you, so each of the four passengers pay only RM25.

MoneyWheel http://www.rwgenting.com/en/casino/games/moneywheel.htm

The payout table is as follows:

Bet Position Payout

Genting 40 to 1
Awana 40 to 1
RM20 20 to 1
RM10 10 to 1
RM5 5 to 1
RM2 2 to 1
RM1 1 to 1

On the wheel, there are :
24 "RM1"
15 "RM2"
7 "RM5"
4 "RM10"
2 "RM20"
1 "RM40 Awana"
1 "RM40 Genting"

Does it mean that if you bet RM1, you get back the RM1 that you bet (win nothing)?

I don't get it, if every part of the wheel is a win or draw for the player, where is Genting's income coming from?

hongchai888, I don't think you actually win anything betting on RM1.

It's somewhat like betting on red in roulette or big in sic bo. There are 24 RM1 in a wheel of 55 slots, that's 43.6%. So if one always bets on RM1, out of 100 times, you will win about 44 times, and lose about 56 times. There's still a house edge after all, quite a big one. Nothing great about this game. smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif In the long term, sure lose money. If use Martingale, lagi more teruk. Oscar may be better.

Oscar rclxms.gif

Oscar’s Grind is a progressive betting system you use on even bets. This system is based on cycles, where the player profits 1 betting unit at the end of each cycle.

It’s easy to remember and use, and you don’t need a huge bankroll to see it through

1) The player starts with 1 unit. (Example $2)

2) If the bet looses, the next bet is the same as its previous. (Still $2)

3) If the bet wins, the next bet is larger than the previous by one unit. (Now $4).

The purpose is to gain a profit of 1 unit at the end of each sequence.

Good luck smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif
