@callmemonkey i heard not much houses around Nibong Tebal. around usm campus is forest. i'm not sure can u find a hotel there.

maybe u can try to camp at the forest..... lol..

Ok..i got science computing and going for it...and now i got tons of question.I had read all the post starting from post 1..some did clear my mind,but i still got questions especially those regarding fees and moneys

There r different amount of money for the course,1 in the offer letter while another 1 in Lampiran E dan E1...the offer letter states tat the fees given by the gov will be 9k+ while the student hav to pay 1k+ per year.

So the question is,the 9k thing is not the ptptn loan right?If it's NO,then the ptptn loan would be helping us to pay the 1k+ right?

Meanwhile,in the Lampiran E and E1...the fees amount is stated different.The course is around 5k..plus all those Yuran Tak Berulang..total up 7k per semester...how long is 1 semester?1 year?

Do i hav to pay all 7k or juz like the offer letter stated,only 1k+ BEFORE or DURING the orientation week?
How do i pay?Bank Islam?

I read a post in this tread tat USM will open an account in Bank Islam for us..so we dont need to open ourselves.Please confirm this.

As for PTPTN...will they giv me a sum of money to pay for the 7k for the 1st semester?I'll be facing some trouble if i hav to pay all 7k in 1 time...

Oh yea,about the hostel..can we stay for 4 years?
Some unis like Uniten,the students can stay for 1 year only.

And wat's with the 1 per room,2 per room thing?We can choose or they will choose for us?

And the class starts right away after the orientation or we will be given 1 more week holiday to prepare?If the class starts right away..then i think i need to prepare right now..bring everything i need coz i dont live in Penang..so kinda hassle if i left something in my hometown and gotta get back and bring it

i got Industrial Tech (Environmental) like what i applied. i undergo my practical (Diploma) there and i hope it will help a lot. my last semester result not come out yet, so i dont have exam slip for semester 6 to enclose with Lampiran A1. u think they still accept me or not?
but surely the result will come out b4 i register there. My MUET result oso not come out yet

If im not mistaken,
At the surat tawaran, they just stated amount that supported by gov for 1 year (2 sem)
what we have to pay is in Lampiran E - warganegara not E1 - warga asing ( i think u re looking at this type of fees)
In the excel doc, there is two tab which is E and E1. u have to click at E tab

like what i see in the table,
you have to pay RM 1350.00 for yuran pengajian, which is RM 740.00 Yuran Berulang (u have to pay each sem) and RM 610.00 Yuran Tak Berulang (u have to pay once).
this is not include yuran for hostel. i think for hostel, they will tell us which hostel will be given. they will pos the surat tawaran right. im oso not sure about this.
from the panduan, they told us that we have to pay before we register through Bank Islam. then we have to know which hostel we will get.

from what my sis said (she is study in USM b4),
first sem we cannot choose our room, but the next sem is up to us. and classes will start right away after the orientation.

anyone, please correct me if im wrong.

no, the next sem only 740.00, u no need to pay for Yuran Tak Berulang anymo. Yuran Tak berulang is like Yuran Pendaftaran. Like I said, 610.00 u have to pay once.
the next sem around 740.00 + hostel.
and that 1.3k is not include hostel eh.

commonly 2 sem per year. like Disember/January and July/August. but it depends on the Uni.

PTPTN will give early money around 1500.00 to pay for the fees (but im not sure to whom they will give). but its not like u got the loan. its just like wang bantuan.
for the PTPTN loan, they will give taklimat on the orientation week i think. if want to apply, make sure u have all the doc that need. u can check on senarai semak in panduan siswa folder.
once u got the loan, they will deduct the 1.5k

Yea i bring my ic to school and ask the principle to certify it..then post it using Pos Express.

Do we have to buy the pin number from BSN now? What about open an account? Which bank? BSN or bank islam?

from 2008, to make loan with PTPTN we have to open SSPN first.
PTPTN bank panel is Bank Islam

Sebelum membuat permohonan,pelajar perlu mendapatkan nombor pin di kaunter BSN bernilai RM5.

there is actually a whole nerighbourhood right in front of the campus...
and some hotels minutes away from the campus....although is small, but still, there are hotels...

if not mistaken , u guys have to buy pin number from BSN before you can open SSPN account at bank islam..good luck...

Lampiran J or G. U must buy num pin at BSN to apply PTPTN (online). but b4 applying PTPTN, u must have SSPN account with at least rm 20 in that account. SSPN account must be opened at least 2 weeks before applying PTPTN.
so, for those who want to apply PTPTN, better open SSPN account before register to USM.
SSPN account, if im not mistaken, can be opened at BSN.

About the ptptn loan, i heard that start from 18 may onwards, we dont have to open sspn account.. DOES it TRUE?? correct me if i am wrong..

And does school of physic near to school of industrial technology?
