Skateboard is interesting.. I had one during my younger years (my birthday when i was in standard 4) but up till now i never had the chance to really learn skateboarding.. That time there is no internet like today and source of information is very limited (i live in kampung).. i remember i just learn how to skate on the road and on my car garrage only.. no high flips just skate (and some agak-agak stunt)..

30 years old now, is it still ok if i start now?  cool2.gif

Yes, my weight and stamina is ageing..  laugh.gif

Hi i am beginner as well. Went to Putrajay. Really great place. Proper place to skate overthere. Comfortable if u bring family (as there are bench, toilet, surau and all). Really worth my travel.

But I only pinjam my fren's deck. Now I am going to setup 1 for myself. Might go with local deck setup. Budget small oni. Huhu..

Btw, I am almost 30 now. It's never too late to start. Let's go guys!

Hey! New to skate boarding here. Looking for nice location nearby Subang Jaya to practice.

I had bought a penny board (cruiser board), because I wanted to cruise around with it and not to do tricks. Hope in future I can use it while travel. Really got inspire from some youtuber.

Im thinking of getting myself a penny board as well but I noticed that most of the users are much younger.. Feels kinda awkward and not sure if it will be too small for someone who's wearing size 10 shoes..
but its more practical to carry around than a regular board though smile.gif

You can buy nickel board from Penny. It's length is 27", provide more stable ride and easier for beginner.

For me, I really plan to be like going traveling with it, so carrying the penny board will be much easier for me to just fit in then off I go. Hope I can really conquer it ><

This is the video that had inspire me to have it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FuSvLHBC7E

Have a look at this video for your direction on buying a penny or nickel board: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUPSrRRSEvQ

i got a second hand one as i dont feel llike getting a new one as i never skate before and it is like a practice board for me.
my purpose is to lesser the walk and faster way to go to work, i taking public transport in singapore.
so far so good, altho it really take some time to get started, like i stated i never skate before.

indeed is more practical to carry around, than a regular board or long board.

i think u can get some other brand 27" nickle or bantam
which i notice bantam like have slight bigger deck than penny.

here's someting u might wana watch b4 making the purchase

if portability is not an issue for u, should get a long board,
more stable imho.
