Dear All,

I'm a proud owner of an Apple IPhone 3G for 2 weeks, when all of a sudden my wifi is not working anymore. When I switch off and on my Iphone again, to my suprise when I go to settings->General at the wifi settings it stated that No Wifi.

I went online and search every resource I can find. A lot of Apple Iphone owners is also facing the same problem. They all offered solutions like, delete all network settings, delete all data on the phone, restore and even re jailbreaking but to no avail. Some even came up with the crazy idea of putting the phone into the freezer!! Cause said something about a telco comp staff from abroad told one guy that the 3.0 firmware fried the wifi chip or something.

I'm posting this hoping the guys here in malaysia has had any luck in solving this problem and can offer me a solution.

I would like to apologize to the admin if someone else has already posted this topic but this is my first time here and I am hoping that this topic may help other Iphone users from malaysia too.

So guys and gals if you have ever encountered this problem before and has solved it, whether firmware or hardware.

I tried all the steps that I could find in the internet, still cannot. Replace wifi chip? where to replace? My phone I bought from someone here in Lowyat forum.

I also dunno where the set came from. From singapore ka or from where. Any way to check this on my iphone ah?

Hopefully some people in malaysia can find a way to fix this wifi problem soon. As in hardware repairing.
