Hi, I've no problems with print head, my problems is only my printer, it keeps on mumming about the front door not open, which I did open for each printing session. What I was thinking is the PCB fails to detect the door is open, but I have no idea how to fix it.

Printer model: Canon Pixma IP4000

I sense the fault of a sensor. Maybe its dirty or its being blocked by the cover or some cables. Perhaps it needs a service. How old is the printer anyway?

Bro..got a problem on my 32'' Samsung LCD tv. It power on normally but faded and become totally black after a few minutes (can still hear the sound just there is no picture). Read in various forum this could be due to the bad capacitor.

So...is it repairable? Mine was roughly 3 yrs..PM me for quotation please.

If its CRT, then depends on the parts. Although monitor damn cheap now, but the parts price remains the same

Hi Krish,

I'm not sure if you could do servicing on dj mixers as well....
well, just now the blue LED of CRUSH effect button on my djm800 is not illuminated when i turned them on. i read in their forums & some people have been experiencing this problem....
the mixer works flawlessly & the crush effects still works, only the LED is not illuminated. the other 3 blue lights still on & flashes when the buttons were pushed. worked normally.

it's just cosmetic but i'm really upset about it.

i'm currently reading the service manual, but did not dare to do anything that would make them worse.

the only problem is i'm based in sarawak....if you could possibly quote your pricing the amount of time needed to troubleshoot would be most appreciated.

thanks in advance

Added on February 15, 2010, 4:43 pmOK, now that i have done the test mode on, all LED lights up. turned it off & then power up as usual....the crush LED button still not illuminated.

Guess it's a soldering problem....dry-joints maybe? seems that my problem is similar like this guy

i've contacted pioneer tech support too about nearest service centre. waiting for reply (now still CNY holiday)

do you have any of your branches in sarawak that can do servicing on djm800? thanks

the mixer is now 1 year plus old...so not new. but seldom used, never abused whatsoever.

ok, the problem is like "kejap ada, kejap tak ada"....yesterday i try on it again. no crush light at 1st, knock on the sides sikit 2 & turn off. turn on balik then hidup la pulak! yay...
ntahla...susah mau cakap....but i do think it needs some servicing...

thanks anyway for the free advise smile.gif
