best is the x800 already bro. VGA good for viewing e mails and web browsing. camera is okay. dun expect pocket pc camera to be as good as nokia/Sony erricsson tho. But its good enuf. HTC hard to get quadband, and also hard to meet your requirements. the X800 is the only device that meets your requirement. HTC no device can meet your requirement

bro. your dad travels overseas. no quadband = cannot use in US and Japan.

but if u think those are not important, from HTC i recommend HTC P3600i. no GPS and no VGA.

VGA = more resolution, means clearer screen. QVGA screens like HTC P3600i when in sunlight cant see very well.

samsung no VGA yet. cuz of your budget i recommend X800 also Eten. if u can afford then go for DIamond. But its new and like all new devices still got many bugs

@findmelah, that recommendation is all there is currently. and again, depending on your usage all pdaphone sure will lag. u have to tweak to maximise performance

I think ETEN M700 will do well in that area, plus with QWERTY keyboard summore, because u mentioned that ur father need to do microsoft office a lot. QWERTY keyboard is good when u want to type very fast.
it's also quadband, and has 2MP camera
but the camera just so so for my experience

but the bad thing is, there is almost no new set available in the market
if u willing to go to for 2nd hand, there's plenty option. tongue.gif
