@cosmic, yes, 1.7k is rite.
@asusfreak i'm not answering till u read post 1. @ApeKG, i recommend u get a GPS unit, cheaper than getting a PDA since u only want GPS. A dedicated GPS unit around 700-1k plus and better accuracy, bigger screen, etc @findmelah, budget? This post has been edited by Baronic: Jul 4 2008, 12:15 AM |

iphone is iphone. its basically ipod, with phone function.
a pdaphone is a windows run device, very moddable, as u would mod and pimp your pc, just the same u can mod and pimp your pda. lots of third party applications out there. etc etc etc. google for more information dude, pretty general stuff. a 3mp cam is around 2k- 2.7k tytn2 and HTC Touch Cruise both have 3mp cams, but not that good. The Touch Diamond has a damn good 3mp cam, with autofocus, even better than my mom's k800i at macro focusing |

sfod i think its a registry tweak, check XDA dev.
ap = import from overseas and then they resell. in other words water set. i recommend stay away from so called ap sets since damn hard to claim warranty. they love giving excuses. like SIS, i complain they even change me a new device altogether. u think ap warranty will do that? no way, since they small fry businesses |

Agree with baronic...always buy original SIS set when it comes to complicated and expensive (more than 2k) devices...unless u got money to burn if something wrong with ur PDA

QUOTE(dadarouch @ Jun 24 2008, 06:54 PM) a GPS phone with a numeric keypad.. Asus P526 and the P750.. thats all i can think off.. the rest are all with QWERTY keypads.. for HTC, u can get the TyTn II.. the Samsung SGH-i780 is not bad either. thanks bro dadarouch...I know it's not easy to get a good & reliable pda with my needs especially on GPS phone with a numeric keypad...thank again for your help.by the way, can anybody here give their opinion to those models stated? FYI, I am currently using SE P1 and intend to upgrade it to GPS phone....by the way, what's the different between a-gps & gps? is the keypad of Samsung's I780 same as SE P1? I kinda like Asus P750? any idea? thanks in advance |
