Thread cleaned! Bro Arj FTW!

Err.. What's knn? tongue.gif

You are my sunshine... whistling.gif My only sunshine... whistling.gif

Yes! My SUNSHINE BD finally arrived, only took 8 days including weekends. Not bad.

Amazon should use USPS instead of DHL Airmail for their standard shipping, the cost is almost the same.

I think Amazon sudah sign contract with DHL (Deutsche Post). No choice.... hmm.gif

Yeah, that must be the case, methinks.

But in my inquiry to Amazon earlier this year, they replied to me that the are reviewing their shipping method for standard option, but until now still the same. sad.gif

My Sweeney Todd steelbook already arrived yesterday. Amazon UK's standard shipping rocks, for RM24 standard shipping (Royal Mail) I received my BD in only 6 days (including weekends).

But yeah, UK is closer than US. tongue.gif

Would take some time to reach season 3. Btw hows the PQ and AQ on season 1 and 2. Only watched a couple of episodes from season one on divx. My recent orders from Amazon does not come with the infamous box and the invoice is not pasted outside. Maybe to deter ketam inspection. thumbup.gif
*
Yeah lor... I think Amazon is "learning" our kastam...

My recent shipment, they only put the BDs value, the shpping cost not included. And they split to 2 boxes, each to their own value. Before, they put total order including shipping to BOTH boxes. hmm.gif

But invoice not pasted outside? I thought it's compulsory?

Many old release by Paramount/Warner doesn't have lossless audio.

Just wait a while, they will re-release those titles, including MI:3 with lossless audio. Just look at all release by Paramount and Warners now, all got lossless audio.

In July they are releasing Top Gun with DTS-HD MA, the first time ever from Paramount.

Looking at the Denon player, I really think that this thread shouldn't be in Playstation section. We need to move to Audiophile. Blu-ray software/players isn't necessarily PS3. PS3 is just one of the players only. wink.gif

I disagree. Nothing to do with standalones. PS3 is just one of the many devices to play BD. The general main forum should be BD, then inside we can have thread for different players, not the other way around.

My suggestion is, we can have Audiophiles > Blu-ray as the main forum, then inside we can have threads for movies, concerts, players (even PS3 too, BD settings in PS3, etc), display, audio, etc, all related to high-def (even HD 720p files). Then those real audiophile junkie will start considering standalones. It will be more comfortable to discuss receivers, speakers, projectors, etc. I just feel weird to go back and forth between here and the Audiophiles section to discuss something very closely related. This is the only thread that I read here. I hope in the future I can only come here to find out things about PS3 as a game console.

Moving this thread to Audiophiles will actually expose blu-ray to wider audience. We just need to take the initiative. If this thread stays here, it will stay here forever. Remember, not all PS3 owners are gamers (like me), they are audiophiles/movie junkie. It just happens that their BD player is PS3. And it was a miracle that I found a BD thread here.

So come on guys. Let's take it outside, let's take BLU to everyone. We have to bring BLU to them, nobody will come if they don't know about it.

Anyway, that's my opinion. We should have a poll about this.
