First of all, I am not in any way blaming MonkeyKing. Further, I did not go in based purely on his recommendation (i did some research myself). All i asked was whether he is genuine; and that i am beginning to have some reservation whether this counter will move up cos i went in a bit late (@1.53). Btw, as my nickname says, i'm new to the share market. Pls read my msg carefully.

At all times, I believe internal news are more powerful than research house paper analysis. But, do bear in mind that internal news are not very easy to obtain. For us investor here, now there is a internal news - Possibility of a privatization of BIMB, it is up to an individual to decide whether to trust or not to trust. There is no forcing here, as the money comes from your own pocket. If that news is true, kudos towards it.. Then there shall be some handsome profits.

Anyhow as spoken before, bank in Malaysia are good to invest. Of course, please give it a long term, and not short term. Bank shares hardly get "fried up", but I do not want to eliminate the possibility of being "fried up". You buy @1.53, then hold it for a mid-long term period. It will definitely be fruitful then you put it in FD.

It Could fetch higher price if it is to be let go to parties outside the community.

Right now , Affin NTA is rm 3.50, and BIMB is about rm 1.50.

Next week Bank Negara will have a meeting & the outcome of this meeting is that there might be an increase in OPR [ overnight policy rate]......if that's the case interest rate will increase & we will see the the price of banking sector shares will go higher.

Correction......market down by 14.95 points but BIMB still stay strong at yesterday's price......not a cent lost. This clearly indicates that BIMB had got value....see it next at a higher level today.

For me, it's definately Affin Bank & BIMB.



BTW, I had not sold any of my Affin [bought 3.11+] & BIMB [bough 1.20+] shares eventhough their prices had taken a beating. In fact, I top up very much more Affin & BIMB shares these past trading days.....my topping up had increase my ABP of these shares but I am staying put until they had reach my TP of 4.10 Affin & 2.20 to 2.50 BIMB.



My last words to all....just hold on to your Affin & BIMB shares...stay put & reap the benefits later on. ........however I leave the choice to you, it's your money & you had the full rights to do what's best for you.

There is another factor that we have to be mindful in banks... NPL
It is always the NPL that bring down the Banks... If not wrong BIMB had faced the problem before...

BIMB - slow and sideways now.

Day range normally 4cts.

Worry not brother zamans98, it's only temporary. Once they throw away their shares, they have no more left and then after CNY, they will be back to buy.........that is the time we slaughter them. Brother, please keep
in mind that there are very limited BIMB shares outside.........only 8% of the total BIMB shares are hold by outside investors...the rest 92% are firmly hold by Tabung Haji & the other Islamic organisations or bodies........so stay put & you will be reward soon.
